  • In this video, we take a look at starting, navigating and operating the Textron/Cessna CJ4 in Microsoft Flight Simulator. Our flight takes us from KMHT to KPVD. Several bugs are also discussed as well as things to watch out for, especially with the automatic pilot.

Thank you for making all of the wonderful videos. I'm new to flight-simming and I have learned a lot from you.

Love these videos. I really do appreciate these more than a lot of what else is out there. Like, I know I don't know anything, but the charisma here helps me take on what's being shown without it feeling patronizing. It's a very application-focused approach than theory-testing. "What does it do? Why do you do it?" as opposed to "Do this for something and go at it in that way, the written theory exam will be in an hour".
The underrated item is you acknowledge bugs or nuances in the game without ripping into it like maybe some of the more vocal parts of the community might be.
    Really appreciate the work.

I've learned about 95% of my flight sim stuff from you. Please don't stop lol. When you run out of planes to demo just do some casual flights :)

I wish Asobo had a detailed flight manual for flying all the default plus. Nav learning leaves me distraught.

This is a pleasant surprise! At least I didn't expect a video before the set live stream.

Great videos. Keep up the good work. I like the videos you do in New England as I'm from NH myself. More TBM vids would be cool too.😉

Could you re-do this CJ4 video again, please? Using the Working Title MOD. I would like to document the AP for the users on the forum, and myself too. It flies so much differently than the TBM which is a breeze to fly. Thank you!

Whoever came up with these FMS computers and their interface design, should honestly just find a new line of work. I heard that Burger King is hiring.

Awesome videos! Do you play On Air at all? I’d love for you to join my New England Airlines VA. So cool to see someone doing same airports I know !

Thank you for showing this! Am I crazy or did you hit pilot heat and not anti-ice showing us anti-ice? So I love this plane and I fly it alot. I do have one major question. What does the speed adjustment on the AP do exactly without AT? In the same breathe how does FLC work? I presume you would need to monitor the speed but I see there is a speed adjustment knob. I have yet to see how this works.

    Great video!
Do you have to switch the nav sources by hand on both mfd's or does the nav button (on the panel above the pfd) do that automatically?

How do you set the squawk transponder code on this jet? I tried setting it, then ATC canceled my IFR after telling me to constantly reset my transponder, even though I already set it to what they assigned when I was on the ground

Seems as if the Pilatus PC24 is a little less busy or stressful as a single pilot operation.

That AC is awful. The fuel problem is just a detail but the thrust issue makes it almost unusable. Had the exact same thing with some Boeing 772 on fsx and couldn't really get around it.

This plane looks cool. But that much guesswork? Well, it's no wonder I haven't managed to do anything other than crash this thing...

the reason its set at 7000 flight level at default is because you didnt change it in the Nav log when setting up the flight

The fuel consumption should be fixed with the latest patch.

Talk about fuel consumption. I tried Houston to Miami with a full tank. Never made it.

I hope microsoft/asobo patch this plane. I dont want to have to rely on mods for a good experience.

This plane's engine is overpowered and the fuel consumption is too high. It is too unreal.
