It is a nice little plane. I sensed more tension than in your "old" Cessna. The old one seems more spartan and there is less drama flying it. This plane is definitely more sophisticated and probably better, but the other one flies like a glider. Way to go!

Looks like a fantastic aircraft. Never ceases to amaze me how fast the citation is from initial power on take off to putting the flaps up in the air. Feels like a 15 second process!

Yes , I’m speculating as a novice , but speed / performance is just a matter of most routes /range , which for individual potential owners a factor over hey , I can go fast , or status , or I’m efficient as can be to and from ! amazing , hey Lebanon NH , the DZ just off there was my home for 3 seasons , I also have a pilot save from there as well ,
@@lucasmanzoni99 Premier is also .80. I believe the Syber Jet is faster than that. From my experience, the Premier is faster than the 300 but it’s kinda splitting hairs. .77-.80M from a time difference for a trip is very minimal in actuality.

For me the best thing about the Cessna Citation CJ4 having just bought one, is that as the pilot, it allows me to moon the control tower at low level easier when I am drunk

i can only speek out of aesthetic reasons, but for me personally i like these (Collins??) more, bc it looks more like a traditional cockpit. when i watched steveos tbm 940 video i was in aw of that black bullet plane, but i didnt like the look of the cockpit with the 3 large screens. i always like to watch the steam gauges in the 930 or these in premier1drivers vids. but as i said - its only aesthetically based, since i am not a pilot or anything
@@nitbot not really. Collins is more complex and not nearly as user friendly as the Garmin. Synthetic vision with a flight path marker is way more useful than any other avionics suite out there.
@@lynguist it looks cool, but I’m more for a modern cockpit than the old steam gauge cockpit. I fly aircraft equipped with a standard 6 pack and aircraft with full glass cockpits. I favor the glass cockpit much more especially with the capability that comes with it.
First impressions are WOW! The color jumps out when the sun hits it just right and staircase is an attention grabber right-off the bat. Looks like this test drive is a winner Max in terms of cockpit comfort, speed and passenger amenities to give the CJ4 GEN2 the 5🍪 seal of approval.

Hi! Great video! So happy to see people flying Citations. I work for Cessna, and I wondered if the lighter jet pilots were hoping for the G3000s like the CJ3+, or if they preferred the Prolines in the CJ4 Gen 2? Not being part of the avionics team, we assumed they would switch to the Gamins.
Good flight for you, Max and great PR for Textron. The CH4-GEN 2 held together on your real bumpy approach so that’s one big point for Cessna, and two points for the both of you. (Nice aircraft.) You need to buy one so you’ll have swept wings like your friend, Premier 1 Pilot, Greg Mink, lol! Thanks for sharing.

The citations are obsolete since 2010 when the phenom 300 arrived.
Really good video. Of notice was the Textron demo pilot. His knowledge of the equipment and his calm demeanor was exceptional.

I feel like the Garmin avionics are much better. Nothing like a massive screen with synthetic vision and a flight path marker.

The Collins Proline in the CJ4 is a far more capable system than the Garmins tho

I flew for 9 years the Citation Bravo with Primus 1000, also a beauty of bird.
I notice as soon as you went to take off power,, damn you could hear that extra 1000 per engine kick in!

Great vid! Ive always wondered why Cessna stuck with Collins Avionics in the CJ4 as opposed to Garmin in the other models in the CJ range..
I believe it's because Cessna thought most of the pilots flying the C4 would be coming from an airline background where the Collins is more common.

Hi! Great video! So happy to see people flying Citations. I work for Cessna, and I wondered if the lighter jet pilots were hoping for the G3000s like the CJ3+, or if they preferred the Prolines in the CJ4 Gen 2? Not being part of the avionics team, we assumed they would switch to the Gamins.
Do you have any opinions/experiences with the 44-4 fcu/fadecs? I am curious of your general thoughts and/or opinions
Good flight for you, Max and great PR for Textron. The CH4-GEN 2 held together on your real bumpy approach so that’s one big point for Cessna, and two points for the both of you. (Nice aircraft.) You need to buy one so you’ll have swept wings like your friend, Premier 1 Pilot, Greg Mink, lol! Thanks for sharing.
