Something is super off with the audio on this one, lots of clicking and interruptions and your voice sounds artificially modulated lower than normal, almost as if it was slowed down a bit. Other than this technical issue, fantastic video as always, the work you put into these is very much appreciated.
same here, audio is shot
It appears to be slowed down, resulting in a lower pitch, and then clipping every few seconds to keep the audio from falling behind the video. Very jarring.
@@yienmaster04 Exactly. And complainers in the posts above STILL say he's talking too quickly. I never had any problem following him, but yeah, messing with the audio isn't the solution.
Yeah he shouldn't be listening to these people and just be himself that's why we're all here
Beat me to it.
You sound like every pilot I've ever flown with when they're giving us the usual mumbo jumbo about weather and altitude we'll be reaching. You've definitely got the "This is your captain speaking" voice.
Favorite plane in the game.
I appreciate these very much. You do a great job teaching. You have a great approach, I appreciate your voice and pace and supporting documents you provide at times. Lots of people attempt tutorial videos but very few have the thoughtful process yours have. It’s obvious to anyone who looks that a lot of prep and planning goes into these before you share them. From pre planning to editing after the fact make these must-see videos imho for those looking to become more skilled at MSFS and consequently having more fun! As someone who purchased the higher priced version I Appreciate you covering all the MSFS aircraft..I have no doubt that (like all its predecessors) the community of developers will be a huge piece of the final user experience with Msfs so we will eventually get more and more releases once devs get used to the SDK.
Hey mate. Love your tutorials and overviews on aircraft and theory. Just please, please fix your audio. Whatever you’re doing that’s causing it to click and skip, please work it out and fix it.
EHAM (Schiphol) lies next to Amsterdam, the Netherlands instead of Brussels (Belgium)
Yeah, at the beginning of the video I was hoping he was going to fly to Amsterdam, but he said he'd be flying to Brussels I was kind of disappointed. Then later I was like, hm, that seems to be Amsterdam anyway haha
Very nicely done and explained! And I love your voice, you sound just like a real pilot.
A few things I've noticed for me with this aircraft, firstly the navigation screen on the left doesn't say fms as an option, instead it's GPS but it's the same colour and follows my flight plan anyways, secondly the to/ga button doesn't work even if I have auto throttle on. I'm on Xbox.
Yeah, there's some _BIG_ distortion in the voice over audio here. Both the sound itself and the fact that it constantly seems to be skipping/clipping. Really hard to watch/listen to.
Yeah I noticed as well. Thought maybe he got a new mic
@@ihatecivicssomuch I hope he's going back to the old mic then. :')
Great tutorial - Thanks! Loving the MSFS videos - and great timing: I spent the weekend trying to see if I could fly this without autopilot ...mainly resulted in sub-optimal outcomes 🤕. Really hard to manage the thrust on descent and approach, so great to see how it calibrates on autothrust. Going all the way to 45,000ft seems unnecessary - and really hard to do without assistance. Right on the edge of stall and no margin for error.
Yeah, I find this jet flies better at 40k feet instead of 45k. Just got the achievement to fly from Asobo to Microsoft (9+ hours) with this plane. It was a great flight!
Does this video use the Longitude mod and G3000 mod or default?
Auto throttle is not working for me, its not responding when I press "Engage Managed Speed Mode"
Arent you always supposed to use VS for descent?
The Longitude doesn't seem so scary now. I've some time in the TBM 930 in MSFS so shouldn't be too steep of a learning curve to step up to this. Famous last words, of course.
I actually found the Longi easier to fly than the TBM930, but I didn't give the latter much chance so far, I actually prefer the Caravan
how do you shutdown the engines and end the flight for the flight to log in the logbook? my logbook never opens even though i shut down the aircraft; is there a bug?
Is the equalizer off on this, or were you feeling a little under the weather during recording? Almost sounds like a voice modulator layered on top.
I usually also arm the speed brake before landing to help slow down. You sound like caught a cold. Hope it’s post processing issue.
When you arm the speed brakes / set spoiler to auto, what exactly triggers their deployment? Is it reverse thrust, brakes, etc?
@@yienmaster04 Should be the squat switch on the MLG probably after a couple second timeout to make sure you are not bouncing it.
EHAM is Amsterdam fyi
how open door?
Do you see the llama if you pause the video at 0:09 ?
Agreed, voice sounds lower, like a bad Monday 😱🤣
for those of you who are a tad slow and become certifiably insane trying to find switches...you have to move the throttle to find the fuel cutoff switch..your welcome
hi
Your voice sounds waaaay off in this video. Are you okay?
By the sounds of it Barry White's ghost helped out with the audio editing.
So the Longitude is $27,000,000 ea. Not bad.
God...that climb rate, tho...
Flight Deck looks Fly-by-Wire.
Second - and am I the only one getting a bunch of clicking/distortion in the voiceover audio?
Yes definitely, it's quite annoying tbh caused me to stop watching
Do you have a speed setting? You need to take a breath and slow down. Chill out.
Great vid, however;
EHAM
Europe Holland AMsterdam
EBBR
Europe Belgium BRussel
Yup, Amsterdam. And he landed on the Polder Ban...It's a long taxi!!
Your speech tempo is far to high. I am not the only one who say this. Please, please slow down!
I wholeheartedly agree. At times it sounds like he is mumbling.
Pause it or slow the video down I enjoy it.
That means he's a fast thinker.
So you say it has autothrottle.....but you still manage the throttle yourself. You say the dashboard is in your face....because you're seated too low (orange and white balls on window pillar). You like to turn on the landing lights, but forgot the strobes (pulse label).
Nice fast tutorial, but the audio sounds like you edited out every single gap of silence.....practically like a run-on-sentence! You've got knowledge, skill, and voice for good videos, but you need to work on your production quality!
Although I was annoyed with the audio as well, I've seen killer videos from P Gatcomb, I encourage you to check 'em out...this had to be his very first one ever, compared to others...he has a Landing Pattern and Landing practice videos that will drop you off on your butt. I hope you give it a try and look at his arsenal of great videos....humble opinion !
your voice ok dude? this sounds bad
You talk so fast I can hardly follow...
speak waaaay to fast. not worth trying to follow
I spent a lot of moola for this game. Please stick to default stuff. Thanks.😷
Those of us who bought premium versions spent more than you, and we appreciate the coverage of all the content, not just the default...
I didn't know he was making videos specifically for you?
Waaaa waaaa waaaaa
Tell the people who spent $4000 on all of OrbX that $60 is alot of moola
Yeah, I also only bought the base version, but I'm interested to see ALL the premium planes. It will help me decide when the time is right to upgrade (basically, when they all are working ..)
English is my native language. You talks so fast. Why? You sound like you're rushing to go to the bathroom. Thumbs down.
