There's alot of pretty harsh criticisms here so I wanted to say thank you for the video it was very helpful explaining some of the more advanced auto pilot features for this plane. I have looked for videos regarding this this but everyone has that stupid "gx 3000 mod" which I sure is great but it's not so great when you're on xbox and don't have access to it yet. So thank you again for doing a tutorial that has original Avionics. I think it's also fair to point out that this plane and auto is a bit buggy so its not a huge surprise that it didn't work exactly how programed it to or that you got "stall" warning when you were above stall speed...
Great information! It looks like the nav mode on the AP got kicked off for some reason during the approach which may have been why it wasn't following the lateral localizer.
Another AP tutorial! You're the GOAT! Edit: This video makes me nervous..... When I start messing with the flight plan, 50% of the time it causes a game crash. Not sure if it's been patched? I
I also had a similar issue, it wouldn't fix on the localizer when coming from NAV mode. I've seen somewhere that you have to switch from FMS to NAV1 for the localizer signal to pitch on. Anyway, what I think it's strange, I don't have the option on my panel to turn on FMS, it only shows NAV1/NAV2/GPS/maybe others but not FMS. Is there something wrong I'm doing?
Before I go through this long video, I am only wanting to know about one thing. Does this video, or can you point me to the right video, talk about how to set up the autopilot before takeoff? Is this possible? It seems when I set up everything, once in the air I hit the buttons to activate, and everything resets to the CURRENT values (or even to ZERO) instead of flying to the ones I preset. Is setting up the AP only possible after in the air???
I recently upgraded from FSX so my install is quite new. The Cessna Longitude does not have an FMS option, only NAV1, NAV2 and GPS. If anyone could provide a solution to this it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Dude if this had been in a real Longitude you would have crashed and been dead right now! You were so oblivious to the fact that the stall warning went off multiple times. That is supposed to ALARM a real pilot, but you just kept on talking like it was nothing! You were also oblivious to the most important instrument in the aircraft on approach - the Angle of Attack indicator. It was way in the red for long periods of time. That's when you would have crashed in the real aircraft. You HAVE to put more flaps down when you're going that slow or you're going to stall out and fall out of the sky.
You move to fast. Your the third video I’ve watched on this aircraft and it’s too complicated for the average person. By the way kill the cute voice inflections. There very annoying. Do you talk like this when your out with friends?

You were having to jam forward the controls on landing because your trim is way high. Thanks for the info on the FMC.

Maybe selecting NAV mode (again) to cancel the ROOL mode can help following the ILS ???
