Exactly. The people that have a problem with it haven't even went in the store nor researched it they just going off hearsay because they would've known it was for adults. Aldo people with disabled kids have said it's even good for disabled or kids with sensory issues so I don't understand the problem even if it was for children

Hey DCMWG, hopefully you see this. If you’re going to use the letters, the most common use now is the LGBTQIA+ community. The plus obviously just includes everything else not mentioned. But tbh, the easiest way to address us is using the phrase “queer community”. That word is all encompassing and easier to use when addressing the community. I know growing up, queer was used as a slur. But it has now been widely accepted to use the term when addressing us as a whole, as long as it’s not used in a derogatory way. Hopefully this helps! Love the show! And appreciate you shedding light on this topic

I think it’s great gender identity and inclusive language is added. But i do remember a transwoman saying. “Gender identity should be separated from sexual identity because it confuse people” and the way she broke it down made sense.
Like it should be “lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual,” then for gender identity “ transgender, intersex, 2 spirit)” but in my opinion. It all just fall under queer(different from the norm) I like learning new things so when i listened to people explain and experience the new words and where they come from it’s interesting.
