Wayne was the soundtrack to my life in 8th grade man. 07-09 was some special years. That grind i saw him have for the music. I told myself whatever career I get into if I don’t love it and do it 24/7 like Wayne treated music I won’t do it.Wayne inspired me most with his work ethic like non other. I just want to find my passion and work like that. He doesn’t have a retirement date because he loves it so much that’s the only thing I want for myself fuck the money

    Great Interview...
I'm such a big Lil' Wayne fan - and know so much about his career/life - that I usually don't even check out his interviews. That's because the run-of-the-mill reporters [who interview him] ask the superficial questions that all of his fans already know [the answers to]. This wasn't one of those generic interviews, though.
This was a good interview; and I think it's one of the *Top-2 Lil Wayne interviews* that I've come across in 15+ years (alongside the *_Nardwuar_* one).
Shout out to the crew for letting Ryan Clark take the lead on this one, because he knew enough to ask enough (yet, he did miss on big novel question).
    ...Great Interview
