not really! Cube said himself that he was able to stay away from the gang life. Ice T was a gang banger. most rappers will admit Ice T was a real gangster.
Young Cube even though he's from LA . He has a mentality of a New York Gangster. No gangbanger He felt like belong to any group, you got compromised. Respect to Cube.
Right that’s why he went to high school w/ the cast of friends bc he’s a crip lol or any kind of gangster at all. Get a hold of yourself he an architect not a gangster of any kind in any way shape or form. He’s a liar 100%
I met Ice Cube outside of House of Blues in Houston. I asked for an auto and only had a Viktor Frankl book on me along with a pen so he signed the book. He was super dope!
The BEST Ice cube interview of 2024 is the one he did with West coast Dj Big Boy. It was more intimate because he grew up in LA and he's actually a fan. I learned things as a hardcore NWA/Cube fan that I never knew.
I was 12yrs old when someone said to me have you heard nwa. From that moment cube stuck out to me as the more rightous of them all. Idk hard to explain. Im 40 now i think i no every lyric he rapped. He basically raised me. I learnt alot from cube. Funny hearing his near deaths as a child. I had the same. I also dnt like parties. Spin out. Anyway at 12 i new cube was the man and here we are 28yrs later he def the man . In life in general.
Got to hangout with Dub C in Dec 2011. Dylub called Cube on the phone when we were burning some trees and Cube said whats up to us on speaker phone. Almost as good as meeting him! 😂

Grew up with NWA..I remember when that albums( that’s before cd’s)came out. Everywhere in Maryland, all ages were rocking to it. I’ve Cube has such an amazing story to share. I would buy all his books, albumns, and I went to see all his movies. Loved Trespass. Speaking to an Icon. He’s so humble!! Thanking him for his contributions to the “ art world! Brainchild!!❤❤
Cube seems like a nice gent! And he’s a big fan of PBD so he is on our side, whether or not he can say that publicly is another matter, but he is clearly on the same team. And this was obviously recorded a while back, but given recent events I would love a proper emergency podcast about Trump though now we know more info.
I’m glad that you had him on. I think it veered from info that would really have been valuable from him (said constructively). Please have him on again
This was excellent. It’s been interesting following his evolution. He’s a serious minded man. You don’t have a long, successful marriage and business without being one. He’s prudent. Thinks without shooting off his mouth. I saw “Boyz in the Hood” when it came out. John Singleton was just a kid. It’s not my genre, but it was a powerful, sobering film. I’ve been watching everything about assassination attempt since it happened. Will watch more. This was a nice break. I saw a video of Tupac Shakur on Not the Bee when he was young. He seemed kind of like a young, sweet, probably gay, theater kid. Not some gangster. Sad where he ended up. He’s right, though. We have a certain number of days and hours. I’m a SoCal native. Now long gone. It’s sad what it’s become.

Wonderful interview. I always a fan of this man both as a rapper and an actor. Thanks for this interview
Cube just cool man. Growing up in the 90s, he embodies that era.
This is one interview with PBD that I enjoyed. He let the man speak. I also learned a lot about PBD, so I may check out more videos to get a better understanding of who is is.
This isn’t a studio gangster. This is the real deal. Like Ice T.
Big facts
Actually they are both studio gangsters
Right that’s why he went to high school w/ the cast of friends bc he’s a crip lol or any kind of gangster at all. Get a hold of yourself he an architect not a gangster of any kind in any way shape or form. He’s a liar 100%
I slept on the ground to see Ice Cube at a concert back in the 90s it was awesome...
FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT
Relax buddy this ain't a Trump interview
@@jourdan585 - how is your "little guy" jourdan? tiny, or very tiny
I met Ice Cube outside of House of Blues in Houston. I asked for an auto and only had a Viktor Frankl book on me along with a pen so he signed the book. He was super dope!
R.I.P Eazy & Shock 🙌
The best interview episode ever
The BEST Ice cube interview of 2024 is the one he did with West coast Dj Big Boy. It was more intimate because he grew up in LA and he's actually a fan. I learned things as a hardcore NWA/Cube fan that I never knew.
LOVE ICE CUBE!! A MAN OF COURAGE AND DOESNT GROVEL TO NO ONE E
Wipe your lips after those type of messages. So you don't have to smell other peoples s**t all day.
Yo Pat, this interview was awesome! Definitely top 3 of all time.
Love Ice Cube hard to get into this right now
Absolutely ❤❤❤❤ Love ICE CUBE! Such a cool & down to earth person. Hope to see MORE movies and hear MORE Music 🎵🎶

Got to hangout with Dub C in Dec 2011. Dylub called Cube on the phone when we were burning some trees and Cube said whats up to us on speaker phone. Almost as good as meeting him! 😂

“Freedoms of expressions in safe creative spaces for our youth/young people is very, very important and serious in these polarized times!!!”
Dude I don't know why The movie trespass never gets referenced to ever for ice cube in his filmography dude that is such an underrated movie and underrated character when he plays Savon him is a villain is the dopest I wish he played more villains in the movie
True. Just watched that movie first time last Christmas, was very impressed.
Anytime someone can't get Q to relax and open up it's great insigh ! Great job PBD another fantastic interview!
A breather for now
Wow!! What a great interview! It took my back of the days I came to America from PR when I joined the army. This was by far one of the best times the music industry and movies! My favorite movie where ice cube acted was Friday! 1995 we watched that movie about 200 times when I was in Korea! Mad respect for this great actor!
Great interview. Much respect
Bragging rights, choose one:
1. Bugatti Veyron
2. 100 ft. Yacht
3. Healthy thirty-two years marriage with four kids
Spot on about Shakur. When you see those drama videos there is no denying.
Why don’t you guys just listen?! And if not interested, then get on out!
I like this episode. I'm a fan of Ice Cube🤜🏽🤛🏽✊🏽👏🏽👍🏽🙏🏽🎉🎊🏆👑🖤🏴💐
