Building a WS6 in 13 minutes

- Join me on my building assembly of my Thompson Motorsports engine and install into my 2000 Pontiac Trans Am WS6. Not everyone has a garage or a shop with a lift. I was able to do this assembling my engine in my living room, wife permitting, and installed the engine in a parking lot outside of my apartment complex.

I have a Supercharge 2000 silver WS6 with a manual transmission sitting in my garage. It has 21,102 miles and I’m ready to get it back on the streets after seeing your video . 👍
How can you have a WS6 with a super charger and you dont even drive it? ughhh jealous! lol

Yeah it can be a little nerve-racking. It definitely will find the weak points if there are any.
Did the high rise not has any cowl issues with clearance?
No. It actually clears by maybe a quarter inch. I use a jack to get an extra quarter inch though

How did you like gowraps tune? I’m trynna choose my tuner for my H/C ls1 needs a retune bad lol
I had Jason @bayarearacing tune it. Pretty impressed with the results. I made pretty good power for just a forged internal truck engine.
@@jrandsr5158 It’s built by Thompson doe right? I thought I saw the stamp while assembling. Hows the driveability and everything? That’s what I’m more concerned of not so much peak power just want drivability and durability lol
@@jrandsr5158 thing came out bad ass doe! Even doe I’ve always been a camaro guy, I’ve always liked the ws6 look better but my ss ain’t bad haha. Also the trap door did you fabricate or buy it?
@@catfissh I think drivability is subjective. To me it drives fine but it bucks a lot under 1500 RPMs. Automatic probably wouldn't be a problem. It will be easier to drive if I have 4:10 gears.
As for the trap door, I got that aluminum door from summit. Just had to use rivets and some silicone to seal it. I also put foam under the door because I didn't want any fumes or anything coming into the car.

That's 500 at the wheels. Approximately 600 flywheel.
