    The reason why the chattering was changed in the international version was due to the line "do you need another beer?" since Nintendo of America had a rule of no alcohol reference in their games at the time.

      @@LeafTanuki tbh its pretty cool they chose English for the japan release, so that means America got a random Japanese bar, & I think that's awesome !

    Fun fact: Sometimes when you enter the game select in the american version, you can see the japanese game icons for a split of a second.

    The 1986 Super Mario Bros. 2, also yoi2 know is Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels is beautifully HIStoric.

    I actually prefer the subtitle of the Japanese Super Mario Bros. 2 “For Super Players” in the Japanese version of the remake, rather than the international version subtitle “The Lost Levels” became this game is indeed without a doubt intended For Super Players, this game is extremely hard and frustrating, and is intended for those for hardcore gamers and those who mastered the original game.

      Them renaming it "Super Mario Bros. For Super Players" on Super Mario Bros. DX was essentially them doubling back and realizing they prefer that subtitle too.

      Nope, that was an international release only, in Japan they just got this one version
