Tony if you haven't already you need to listen to metaphorical music by nujabes it's one of the most beautiful albums you'll ever listen too 🙏
Silly question but have you heard Aric Improta (drummer) and The night verses (the band he plays in), i say it from my ignorance but i feel that he's also a great performer with a dedep understanding of the drumming, I may be wrong tho but I'm guessing that you could find him interesting.
With that said and out of the drums I'd like to also recommend to The world's end girlfriend (Katsuhiko Maeda) he's a composer that is always trying new things and he's been doing this since for ever, making post-rock, post-metal, classical music, instrumental, j-pop, j-rock, he has even tried some vocaloid stuff and he has composed for Mili, (I think she's the singer for the opening of goblin slayer).
I think you could also find very interesting what he does and of course it would be very educative to listen what you have to say about him.

The transition between his way of playing to give a show and this playing to form the backbone of his band's music is what makes El Estepario a true professional and an extraordinary musician. The Cost has another song "Not for Me", it is also very worth it. Thanks Tony!.

Funny thing, he was a profesiona way before he was in social media. Guy knows over 250 songs from all kinds of "popular genres" in spain since he was working with a orchestra for a bunch of years...

Not only El Estepario is an accomplished musician, but the bass and the guitar/vocalist are also very good. Now, we just have to wait for any surprises they come up with to delight our ears and the sky is the limit.

I believe they've released three songs. They're all different, all have their own moods and are all great in my opinion.
All 3 songs are phenomenal. Not for Me just off 2 million views and a great vid with an introduction by the band following the track. Her eyes, well, youve just got to watch for the message, Serj and Peters vocals.
It's a quite cool song, but still prefer their first, "Not for me" is SO GOOD!!
