I've played drums (seriously) for my whole life and he is one of the best, and most creative drummers of ALL time. His technicality is off the charts, and he plays at a higher technical level than 99% of drummers and he does it flawlessly and effortlessly. Playing such extremely technical and difficult parts and doing it as clean as he does is extremely rare. He has an enormous headspace (limb independence and ability to multitask) which allows him to play so relaxed because he is fully in control, and his speed is untouchable. However, he practices extremely hard and all of the time, so he is a perfect example of what happens when you invest everything you have into your craft. He is nothing short of amazing.

I’ve been following him since March 2020, when he “only had” 20k followers across all of his social media. He was just a guy having fun showing off while stuck at home, overplaying all of the songs he was covering. Now, he’s quite possibly the biggest drummer in the world, and is slowly working himself into being considered one of the GOATs of drumming.
His cover of Blinding Lights by The Weeknd is one of the greatest examples of limb independence I’ve ever seen, and I’ve been drumming for almost 40 years.

As an old drummer, I can tell you that what he does takes a lot of practice. Not only is he technically proficient, he plays with speed and precision. Those stick flips alone take some time to master, and are not only there for show...they can also be used for timing sections between playing. The cowbell and weight on the snare head makes the snare tighter for a crisper sound, and enables a quicker stick response. He's definitely one of the next generation drummers, going beyond what us old timers have done. If you want to check out some women drummers that are also excellent, check out Anika Nilles and Emmanuell Caplette.

I played drums in my youth for about 10 years, knew a TON of extremely talented drummers far better than myself. El Estepario Siberiano isn't so much as teaching as he is schooling all drummers out there. This guy is such a clean player, his limb independance and his technical abilities put him on a whole new level. He's the next step in the evolution of drumming that will raise the bar for everyone, and bring about a new era of drumming.

Great reaction to one of my favorite artists. He has a video about his story and journey so I wont tell you any spoilers but it is a great story. Also, I have been an amateur drummer since I was a kid. My grandfather had a set in his house and I have fond memories of him playing for us. This man is a machine. I won't say he is the GOAT just yet but he is definitely in the conversation. My favorite thing about his drumming is that yes he shows off, however, everything he does compliments the music and is there for a reason. In other words he doesn't take away from the song just to show you his skill. Much love and keep on keepin on J.

This was a delightful reaction. Your comments and your style of commenting are wonderful. So glad you did this nice spread of El Estepario's videos. Your comments about his hard work were so on point. EES has worked massively with total dedication to his art form. And no, these are not parlor tricks. This is amazing drumming taken to the max in an enormously entertaining way. EES is kind of rewriting the book on what you can do with drums. Personally I would love to see a reaction to his "cover" "Gangnam Style". But anything of his you react to I'll be there to enjoy. Thanks for this.

My favorite one of his is where he puts both sticks in his left hand mid-song, holds up a beer next to his cymbal and hits the other side of the cymbal with the two sticks which causes the bottle cap to fly off the beer as he is still playing, then he starts drinking as he's playing with one hand.
Every video he plays is phenomenal but that is particularly inhuman.

Wow! I had never heard of him before, but that was bad ass! I am not a drummer, but I think the point of the cowbell, or weight, is just that, to be heavy and hold down the drum head from bouncing, and probably to absorb some of the energy of the strike, which will sound different. I kind of don't know which song to react to because I kind of feel like you should react to something you do already know, so as not to ruin another reaction. The last one you looked at was Dire Straits' "Money For Nothing", but that's a very classic epic music video that I think you should actually see. I also saw Van Halen's "Hot For Teacher" that has a famous drum intro, but that's another classic music video. I saw "Maniac" which is the song famous for being from the movie "Flashdance", which is a song where you wouldn't expect heavy drums, so that might be fun to see what he did with it, and it's probably not that big of a deal if you don't already know it, but there are images from the movie and music video that are also iconic. I don't know, maybe none of that matters. What do I know? I'm going to check more of him out though, so I'll let you know if I have any other ideas.
(Oh, right! You did already do that Dire Straits song, but the live version, and probably aren't going to do the music video anyways)

    I really love your accent.
First I thought you said, " Not done this before, today we are gonna react to Dramas ".. And I was like, well. reactions to a drama.. What even is that.
And then seeing the drums come up..
Even took me a second to get that you did not say drama after that. but drummers :0

I used to play percussion in an orchestra and turned to drums afterwards around 11 years old (54) Unfortunately I no longer play because of health reasons and this kid inspires me to try and catch up to him. I recommend his cover of Toxicity by System of a Down. Amazing video

I have absolutely NOTHING to add to these perfect comments regarding this drum genius. If I would add anything to the below comments is besides his unheard-of talent (and the gruelling practice he puts himself up to) is his humbleness and willing to teach what he knows. How he explains and mocks those who insist that these things can only be accomplished on a huge drum set and then he proves EVERYBODY wrong with just the basic kit and his off-the charts talent. Yep hes got us all spoiled rotten with perfection. Estepario is in a class by his own and CAN play anything and everything he sets his mind to, replacing just about any pro drummer on the face of the Earth from their gig.

    The rabbit hole continues here:
The Bongo Song and Blinding Lights.
Afterwards continue with more rock stuff if you like but the electronic/ pop songs showcase his insane precision best.
Reacția ta a fost amuzantă. Mersi.

Several commenters have described in detail the amazing technical skill of El Estepario Siberiano. They are not exaggerating. He is an absolute beast! One of the more technical skills described in their comments is "limb independence". Limb independence is a term commonly used by drummers to describe the coordination ability that is necessary for the physical multitasking of advanced drumming.
Drummers use four limbs when they play. For example, the left foot on the hi-hat (sometimes on another bass drum if double bass drums are used), the right foot on the bass drum, and the two hands on other cymbals and drums on the drum kit. Limb independence allows advanced drummers to play different rhythms, without having to consciously focus on each one individually.

One simple example of limb independence for non-drummers is "patting your head (up and down) while rubbing your belly (in a circular motion)", two seemingly simple actions that often inexplicably conflict with each other, preventing one or even both of the actions from being performed well. Take that simple exercise and literally multiply by one hundred to begin to get a sense of what advanced drummers can do.

Soon as I pressed play on your video. I SIMPed straight away and liked your video simply because of your beauty/authenticity/pretty girl who is also reacting to a cool drummer I like. But then you just said I sometimes struggle with bringing the fork to my mouth and that was funny haha and I like that you’re acknowledging and appreciating the intention of the clip and brining it to our attention which was coordination. I also subscribed just a little before that because I thought fuck it yeah

      Maybe you’re Russian?
I’m thinking what makes you magnetic is that English clearly isn’t your first language and yet you’re confidently expressing authentically and maybe you started the channel to practice your English too?

He is insanely good, fast and precise, for sure! My vote for full cover song is his version of "Almost Easy" by "Avenged Sevenfold" or "Numb" by Linkin Park. If you like to see what he could do from some funny sh***t song (with his cover) you could check his cover of "Gangam Style"!

Great choice Miss Bisscute and very nice reaction. Great drummer. I notice you like The part of The song by New Order (80's) you should react songs performed by them.
