Susan - pure passion delivered, and I think Leonard would've stood and applauded this rendition of his beautiful "Bird on a Wire". I salute you, my dear.
I saw them last night in CBus. Susan absolutely sent tingles up and down my spine singing this song. She took us all to church on a raining Monday night in Ohio. She was so amazing. Best ever.
I saw the band play this in Berlin 3 years ago, I was not familiar with the song, it was a mind blowing performance from the band and Susan's voice and passion had the tears running down my face. Beautiful.
God I wish I could meet a woman who loves TTB, Joe Bonamassa and Warren Haynes among other great blues artists. All the good ones must be taken because the women I meet dont even know the great artists
What is your schedule. After a decade plus I would love to see you around here. You were here in columbia heights mn and someone called to tell me at midnight!! Really would love to know when or if you're around. The Twin Cities is usually good for a crowd somewhere.
Ya'll should hear Troy Cassar-Daley and Jimmy Barne's version of this song too. It's great. Not as sublime as Ms Susan Tedeschi here, but still, yeah just listen to it.
Beautiful performance. I would encourage the band to ditch the knight/ribbons verse in favor of a preferable version from Cohen: Like a worm on a hook Like a monk bending over the book It was the shape, the shape of our love That twisted me This is much more profound and it avoids the archaic language problem of saying "thee".
Good words, how did you find them? I think they are much more relevant in a certain sense and quite appropriate for our times and understanding. I do, however as an esthetic tip of the hat on occasion, like reference to a throwback time of chivalry and that concept of respect and romanticism. Anyway, thanks for posting.
this woman opens her heart and heals people

Beautiful Susan!

Well…that rocked. Thanks for sharing.
My girl gave me chills! Just beautiful.
Fantastic! Best rendition I've heard of this classic Cohen song. Such passion! Backup singers are amazing.
have you heard Joe Cocker's version?
@@Chris-vr8cd Cocker is one of the all time greats. Love him. I just like the TTB total package better.
@@williamholmes8506 word ✌
nobody but nobody does it better than jennifer warnes.
Nobody does it like Johnny Cash
Leonard definitely proud of this cover. Susan brings it. Love them both!
Jennifer Warnes, Aaron Nevile, kd lang, Joe Bonamassa , and now Susan and the TTB. All great versions of this fabulous tone poem.
A great cover of a great song. It's all about the music.
great Always love this song a great version
Thanks susan, once again you have brought tears to my eyes and warmth to my heart.
What a performance . Superb vocal
She is just amazing!
That was pretty amazing. I’d pay to watch this awesome band.
She is just amazing.
Great stuff, Susan. RIP Leonard Cohen
Stunning!
oh dear lord this brought me to tears
I saw the band play this in Berlin 3 years ago, I was not familiar with the song, it was a mind blowing performance from the band and Susan's voice and passion had the tears running down my face. Beautiful.
I was at that Berlin gig and I totally agree with you. I was in a puddle of tears all night!
Simply an incredible group !!
what a voice and performance
So ...Love ..Your Music....Once Again..
I get pretty attached to particular versions of songs I've heard from artists (in this case Cohen). But this just blew me away. wow.
I agree. Originals are hard to beat, however TTB has an uncanny way of knocking them out of the park.
Susan completely blows this one away EVERY time! Saw them at the Ryman in March and she and the band was on fire as always!
this sucked
Check out the Joe Cocker with Mad Dogs & Englishmen version anno 1970 ;)
FLAWLESS.
Brilliant!!
Notice that there is not only guitar, only Susan's wonderful voice, I think I love that woman.
Beautiful !!
Best damn rendition ever. I was hoping I would find it here. Thx.
Bob Benvenuti hope they post the Pittsburgh Benedum version too...incredible
Mountain Jam I'll check for that, thx.
Joe Cocker's version very very close.
This is my favourite Cohen song. Done well.
No one has every done this song better than her!!!
Johnny Cash did
Perla Batalla
Love this song, and Susan
RIP Kofi Burbridge ❤️
She is much better than the well known over rated singers of today.
I got a ticket to see them next month ! 😆
damn this lady can sing!!!
RP Leonard, seeing TTB tomorrow night, I am sure they will play this
They played it on November 19 in Pittsburgh. Great show. Tribute to Leonard Cohen, Leon Russell, and Sharon Jones. Lost all three in November.
Yeah, I was there too. Beautiful song.
Hoping we get this one at the Orpheum tonight.
Here for Leonard Cohen's birthday 2020. My favorite rendition, my favorite song.
This.
God I wish I could meet a woman who loves TTB, Joe Bonamassa and Warren Haynes among other great blues artists. All the good ones must be taken because the women I meet dont even know the great artists
We're out there
OH MY GOODNESS! Leonard , eat your heart out XXOO
This easily have come from the Stax Studio,Solomon Burke would have killed this, but Susan does Stax and Solomon proud!❤️
são pessoas que sabem porque estão aplaudindo, isso se chama sensibilidade.
❤️
Last song my brother ever sang. He could barely sing and hold his guitar. Miss you Jason
RIP Leonard
Sing Susan sing
Good Lord🎶❤️🎤
Is there anything they can't do??
Goddamn
👍👍👍👍👍

Would have love She and Joe Cocker do a duet together.
Shure beta 58A
fai onore a Joe Cocker, formidabile performance
Fantastic voice and decent version of the song, but Katy Segal cannot be beat singing this song.
Ya'll should hear Troy Cassar-Daley and Jimmy Barne's version of this song too.
It's great. Not as sublime as Ms Susan Tedeschi here, but still, yeah just listen to it.
ohio mule sez johnny cash has this down.....!
You are
lm a big fan of the band but find this version very sister actish
You mean Gospel, and that is the root of Soul music always has been.why do you think this band calls there backup singer the choir.
joe cocker version
Очень хорошо! ...

[Joe Bonamassa]
Much prefer Joe Bonnamasa’s version
Katey sagal and Joe bonamassa are way better
Worst version ever terrible
Awful
Beautiful!
ohio mule sez johnny cash has this down.....!
