Dynamics, modulations, soul, talent, cohesiveness, etc. This is truly one of the more brilliant bands of the period. I guess I'm a product of my environment and generation, but I really try to stay open-minded to new stuff and find it here and there, but as far as popular music is goes, it's lost something... something intangible, something requiring creativity. *LISTEN, I KNOW WE HAVE BRILLIANT MUSICIANS TODAY. ITS NOT AS IF WE AS A SPECIES BECOME WORSE AT PERFECTING CRAFTS. What we've lost, generally speaking: BANDS THAT ARE GREAT BUT NOT POPULAR AND MAINSTREAM, but the organic creativity that was once beloved by many has taken second to production. Many folks in the music industry saw this coming, but it's still a bummer to see brilliant technicians become somewhat absent from the mainstream, excluding singers: there's still great pop vocalists. And as much as I love rap, bubblegum pop and other genres, the real monsters are being skimmed over. TTB is one of the last old school-like bands that can pack the house, but we're running thin regarding popularity and exposure to masters of their craft to

Yeah, such a full sound. Man, I love that Chicago blues rhythm section set up. Albert King and tons of other greats had dimilar arrangements with horns and back-up singers. For a blues guitarist, could they ask for a better backdrop to get after a ripping solo!? I'd chop one of my balls off to have a band of this caliber set this the rhythm backdrop for my solo. What an incredibly talented band!
