I bought the g3 a few days ago. Took it to the range yesterday and put 100 rounds through it. No hiccups what so ever. Shot like a champ. And accuracy was on point. Never shot the g19 but you can’t beat the quality of the g3 for the price. Can’t go wrong with the g3 none whatsoever in my opinion
I just bought my g3 brand new from my local pawnshop ffl. For $286.00 plus tax, I haven’t shot it yet but I’m gonna break it in with 200 rounds down the pipe. Nice review and I live in Richmond Virginia.
?How was the experience, brother
@@ابومحمد-ض2ص1ظ great
Thanks for the help I'm purchasing me a G3
That g3 is what I would have built its unreal that thing in my eyes is just standard grip texture dont get much better .... It was the glock 19 killer 3 dot sights 15 and 17 round ..... You got a 19 and 17 in the G3 OVER ALL OTHERS
The G2C got me to stop carrying my Shield. My matte stainless slide G3 got me to get rid of my Glock 19! Mine is fitted with with XS Big Dot Tritium Sights and an Olight.
I have the choice to trade my 19 for both a g2 and a G3 taurus. I think I'm going to do it!!!
I would.
@@TheJimminiShow ok, I'm doing it soon then. I'm excited!
You wont regret it
@@TheJimminiShow just picked them up!!!
Smart man! Get the G3 mags ( 15 and 17 rounds)
Love my g3 and would buy over a Glock any day but to address your fit and finish comments - Glock (along with m&p) leave a little bit of room between frame and slide for reliability. It might seem counter intuitive, but having space allows debris to fall or be ejected out, whereas in the Taurus, the debris will stay. On the flip side, it also keeps it out better.....
why would anyone even buy a glock when the G3 is superior for 1/3rd the price!
Because it says GLOCK on it. Why do we buy Nike instead of Walmart. Rolex instead of Casio?
Tour just paying for the name. Name brand is costly but not always better.
U don’t need to press anything on the taurus slide to reassemble. Just slam it back and presto no problem
Honestly after buying one I don't think you can compare to the Glock 19 like everyone else does, it may be similar in size, but it feels much more like a Glock 17.
I USED to be a Gun Snobb/ Taurus Hater. From past experiences in late 80's with them. Longgg Story SHORT?? Their G3 Series are TERRIFFIC! Started ( Grudgingly) with the G3..Then went to a G3C, Then the G3X. ALL RUN GREAT! FOR $265.00 ! FOLKS ya Cant Beat em! Over 1000 rds of ALL types Ammo through em & NO Malfunctions! Live & Learn Right! Sure I Still Love the Safe Queens BUT for RELIABLE EDC?? They Are Excellent! God Bless...😊
Can anybody tell me why Glock just as the same old pistol year in and year out and they call it new by putting a different gen number on it. Glock is not innovated it's the same old s*** different day. You want to talk about innovation Smith & Wesson Taurus they've updated the G3 within a year with a new trigger different sites rounded front slide. Sig same old thing heckler and cock same old thing. Come on people if you're spending $6,700 on a pistol you need your damn head examined. I have Taurus p11 all the way through the G2 g3c G3 and not one hiccup at all. Why spend $500 on a pistol when you can get a G3 g3c for under $300 and have the same quality firearm.
People just wanna fit in the the crowd, glock is a big name brand so most are gonna follow. Plus glocks have no external safety and is simple to manage so alot people like the generic style. There's better options nowadays but it's hard to break the pack mentality.
Gun thots r real and will continue to jock for a name ( Sig, Glock, etc)
I need to see the range vid!
Got my G3 today i haven’t put it down yet an its 3am 🤞
That's exactly how I was when I got mine lol. They freakin rock!
How was the experience, brother?
@@ابومحمد-ض2ص1ظ great shoot no jams or failure to feed magazine capacity perfect just a great gun
G3 is better than the Glock outside of aftermarket parts. If TAURUS brought back their lifetime warranty, they would be destroying Glock since the G2C evolved out of the pt111 series.
Taurus did bring back the lifetime guarantee.
@@TheJimminiShow got the g2c and g3 today again .....right lifetime is back
I love my g3 but any bullets in that mag rattle and ruined carrying ability for me
The fix for that rattle is to remove the base plate from the mag, take out the spring then take and reverse the follower.. then flip it upside down and reverse the base plate lock.. put it back into the mag and the rattle is gone and the mag runs as normal
Beretta apx
Talk about firing capabilities???
I didnt take them out and shoot them on that day, si i didnt have an opinion. Now that my local range is open again, i will be going and shooting more. When i can get ammo
Anyone know if the Taurus g3 can put a Inforce light ?
Can you run a Glock barrel in the g3?
Poderia legendar em português para podermos entender?
Good video but Glock is Glock and Taurus is Taurus in a nutshell Taurus is not an imitation you guys need to understand there do many polymer guns by reputable companies like Taurus Sig exetra
👍👍
Gen5 sf has slide cuts for press checks now 😆 🤣. They build glocks loss like that so they run in any conditions. The tighter you have it the more UT is likely to malfunction. I paid 503 after tax brand new for mine and there is no way that torus is in the same room as glock sorry thier not
Why not, all glock is name recognition I have both and the taurus goes head to head in my book.
@@blackjohnny9570 if your definition of “head to head” is going to the range a couple times a year, that doesn’t really mean to much. You’d have to be torture testing it to really find out.
@@redskinfan1012 most people don’t need to fire their defense weapon thousands of times, just need a reliable gun that will work when they need it.
@@blackjohnny9570 absolutely your right. But In theory, we don’t really know for sure that it is better or equal. Glock has seen military use. Taurus hasn’t
@@redskinfan1012 true, but I’ve had 4 Taurus pistols and put hundreds of rounds through them and never had a problem so they do the job as far as I’m concerned.
