Gracie Diet Acai Smoothie Contest - Official Results

- www.GracieDiet.com Over the summer we had a smoothie recipe contest in which students were encouraged to submit their favorite smoothie recipes. The only rules were that the smoothies had to be Gracie Diet compliant, and they had to include Acai as one of the ingredients! In this video, you'll join Rener and a special guest judge as they decide which of the top three recipes is the winner of the Acai Roots premium product gift package.
Here are the top three recipes that were produced and judged:
Chris Rice
Apple Juice - 4 Red Apples
Coconut Water - 1 cup
4 Bananas - 2 froze and 2 regular
2 Acai Roots Frozen Packs
Jim Thrift
Coconut Water - 2 cups
4 Acai Roots Frozen Packs
Add Honey to Taste
Andy Lopes
2 Handfulls of Red Sweet Grapes - Juiced (through Gracie Juice Bag)
1/2 Honeydew Melon Juiced
4 Bananas - 2 regular 2 frozen
2 Acai Roots Frozen Packs
They were all amazing, but only one gets the grand prize!

i have never tried acai root and i have been wanting to try it for quite some time now. definately want to try out my first smoothie with it and encorporate acai into my lifestyle.

Man! To drink one of those a day and train 3 days a week. It don't get no better than that! I would have picked the honeydew,grapes,banana&acai berry too. Going to Whole Foods this weekend then try this...thank you!

Question to the Gracies. How difficult is it to grapple someone who has poured oil over their entire body beforehand? Is it possible to get a good submission grapple upon someone who has oiled themself up for traditional Yağlı güreş (Turkish Oil Wrestling), or would they pretty much slip out of everything? How do you apply an appropriate submission to someone who is slippery is what I'm asking.
I submitted my smoothy with an armbar, is that good enough?

Acai Roots is the best. Being on the east coast, I eat/drink Sambazon most of the time to avoid shipping charges for Acai Roots. But Acai Roots is much better than Sambazon.

Next time do one for people with banana allergies. Since that started a couple years ago smoothies are a little more difficult for me to do. Just about everyone puts the banana in them.

@TerrillWill I hear ya man - not meaning to hate on anybody, just a bit confused. Blood acidity is a major cause of degenerative disease so you want your blood to be on the more alkaline side - yet in their food groups, the Gracies list lemons/limes in group D - the acids - when technically they shouldn't be there. I know - nitpicky troll - LOL but being that I DO love all things Gracie, it kind of mystifies me why they wouldn't want to improve and perfect Carlo's Gracies diet using science.

Hey Rener, did you know that lemons and limes enter the body acidic but then immediately become Alkaline during digestion? I just wonder sometimes if you ever thought about actually authenticating any of this diet of yours instead of just saying it works because Grandpa lived til he was 95. A family friend died last month - 97 and a life long smoker. I like your videos but sometimes the 'Ryron style" of logic of "Why do I peel the carrots?-Cause my gramps and dad do.", gets tiring.

I thought melons could not and never should be combined with anything else, but rather be eaten alone...
If your not sure about acai's health benefits, it might be better to consult a nutritionist or dietitian on the matter, instead of asking on here. Not one food works for everyone, we're all different so it might be best to ask a professional, instead of asking random strangers on youtube.
