I appreciate the test. I dont care about lead on the outside of the cup. But if there is some inside that is a problem.
You still don't want to touch lead.
It's a problem if it's present, either way.
There should be no lead contact to the consumer period.

Also get more positives testing the bottom inside the cups
The led is not inside the cup! It’s on the bottom outside!!! Not harmful if the seal is not removed, but people believe it can sip through the cup…almost impossible!
Look up a news story about it, explains the lead process used to make the vaccume seal.

So why is it testing positive from the inside 😂
Some test positive and some don’t. I’m talking inside the cup along seam and threads. 💯 positive
You don't want to touch lead.
The vacuum sealed tumblers are double walled. Even if you drop it and managed to compromise the vacuum seal, the lead used to seal the underside of the cup is still on the outer wall and would not be in your water.
And what if it goes through the dishwasher with the plug cap off and you give your toddler food off it?

But you may inadvertently put it in dishwasher or the lead powder can come in contact with your hands. It can be just as dangerous.
@@WhyitJellyDonutpoint here is that this is not something that should be coming in contact with surfaces that you or your family/drink off of.
