surging through my body, the ocean in me. crashing waves of memory, currents of longing. the tide is turning. the undertow takes ahold of me. i know i should go now, i know that it’s time. in canyons deep within my soul, torrents of fury. they carve away my fear, but the hurt still echoes. the tide is turning. the undertow takes ahold of me. i know i should go now, i know that it’s time. out on the horizon, a storm is brewing. i let the breakers rush over me and feel the ocean’s heart pounding. surging through my body, the ocean in me. the tide is turning. the undertow takes ahold of me. i know i can go now, i know that it’s time. the tide is turning. the undertow takes ahold of me. i know i should go now, i know that it’s time. i know i should go now.
The salt in the body Is the ocean in me Smothering waves of time A stream of pain And the ocean gets heavier Everything is pulling towards the deep I know I have to go I know that I can Deep in the crevices of my skin My desires are pouring Take hold of time Erase all fear And the ocean gets heavier Everything is pulling towards the deep I know I have to go I know that I can Far from the land I see faint memories I let the waves take me I feel the deep sea shake The ocean is in me It's the salt of my tears And the ocean gets heavier Everything is pulling towards the deep I know I have to go I know that I can

I devoted the last 7 years of remission studying my Svenske and music. Eivør presented at the end of the first year I was learning guitar. I’m a singer or was. Faroese or the other scandinavian languages have actually nothing to do with Tolkien's Elvish. If you're looking for real life Elvish then I suggest you get to know Finnish. That's the language Tolkien adored and used as an inspiration to create Quenya.

I would need at least 45 minutes to explain just how beautiful it is. That sea-water is salty, that temperature varies a lot - that density of water is depending on both and thus drives our ocean currents at peak rates of billions of tons of water per second is moving - ensuring that nutrients and oxygen is "ventilated" on our blue planet is as beautiful as the fact that we humans need a bit of salt - but can not drink sea-water - but we can drink rainwater - being amazingly distilled like the finest cognac - making water drinkable for the fine people on the Faroe Islands that are surrounded by salt-water at a latitude where ocean-current heat-exchange makes their land beautifully green instead of being a permanent ice-cube.
The reason is that salt indeed makes water grow heavy. And the biggest waterfalls on the planet happens north of the Faroe Islands, in the Nordic Seas. The salt in the body
Is the ocean in me
Smothering waves of time
A stream of pain
And the ocean gets heavier
Everything is pulling towards the deep
I know I have to go
I know that I can
Deep in the crevices of my skin
My desires are pouring
Take hold of time
Erase all fear
And the ocean gets heavier
Everything is pulling towards the deep
I know I have to go
I know that I can
Far from the land
I see faint memories
I let the waves take me
I feel the deep sea shake
The ocean is in me
It's the salt of my tears
And the ocean gets heavier
Everything is pulling towards the deep
I know I have to go
I know that I can

O sal no meu corpo
É o mar em mim,
Um fluxo bêbado de tempo,
Um fluxo doloroso.
E as ondas são assustadoras,
Todas elas puxam para o fundo,
Eu sei que devo ir,
Eu sei que eu posso.
Nas profundezas da minha pele
Meu anseio cai como uma cascata,
Ele agita o tempo,
Come no início da manhã.
E as ondas são assustadoras,
Todas elas puxam para o fundo,
Eu sei que devo ir,
Eu sei que eu posso.
Longe da terra
Eu vagamente me lembro do cinza,
Eu deixei as ondas me levarem,
Eu sinto o mar profundo tremer.
O mar está em mim,
O sal nas minhas lágrimas.
E as ondas são assustadoras,
Todos eles puxam para o fundo,

I love her music so much
What the blazes? Every day I learn something I’ve not ever heard. I’m of Swedish descent, but only just recently re- started life after years of battling leukemia caused by benzene. I devoted the last 7 years of remission studying my Svenske and music. Eivør presented at the end of the first year I was learning guitar. I’m a singer or was. Now Violin, Flute, blues harp and I bought a Cajon to keep up with Trollabundin.
My teacher is a Scot familiar with Shetland and Faroe Islands. He told me it was difficult but beautiful to live there. I recently heard the Faroeans are looking for more female residents? I was considering but I’m no spring chicken, lamb, nor duck.
Recently I discovered this song and I fall in love with it. It's stunningly amazing

Faroese is the new trendy Elvish language. I've got to learn it!!
How about Elfdalian?

Faroese or the other scandinavian languages have actually nothing to do with Tolkien's Elvish. If you're looking for real life Elvish then I suggest you get to know Finnish. That's the language Tolkien adored and used as an inspiration to create Quenya.
Elvish? Preposterous!
Welsh was used as inspiration for the Elvish language in his novels.
Had the pleasure of hearing it live.
Really really really love her
I love the sound in the background, it's badass!
