During this exercise, what should we focus on with our picking hand? Should it be entirely alternate picking or some sweeping? I'm looking to be more accurate with my picking hand.
Great question! I practice it three different ways. Alternate picking, Sweep Picking, and Hybrid picking(use your middle finger on the E string to pluck) Start the lick with your middle finger on the right hand then every time you slide to the next position use the middle finger again.
