interesting on the index finger placement. My first instinct was to use my middle however I expect there is better use of the index for other playing skills. thanks for these
middle makes sense if approaching as a chord. I think it also helps the player think about the lick or sweep differently rather than just an up and down exercise
Getting the speed down is hardest for me. Instead of gliding, my whole beginning sweeping sounds more like the falling on each string that you show. Hopefully in time it sound as clean as yours. Sometimes i wonder if lick angle makes any difference or just time and practice.

Excellent. I saw another video using basically the same pattern, and I’ve been practicing for about a week. But your video explains it more clearly. 😊

Also you don't have to make a long stretch to hit the high e
The 6 count helped me the best. Thanks bro
It will take me two years but it will be my daily exercise, thanks!
Little late to the commenting game, but thank you man. After about five minutes of practicing I am sweeping slowly but steadily!
You're the best teacher

Thank you ! Got it !
I desperately need to get with this technique, and style, its just one thing my playing has always lacked, thanks O.P.

old materials, demonstrated by hotshots of yesteryear- Vinnie Moore,MAB, etc---45 years ago
What guitar is that?
Is the last note in g string when coming up a up stroke???
Nice. Ill add this to my bluesy fusion style. Thanks. Always remember that Jesus loves and died for you.
The very first example you give is the best sound. Also I notice that you are combining a sweep pick with conventional picking to finish the lick off.
Sweet
Yup yup..
Hey bruh, please guide me to buy acoustic guitar please, what kind of wood?؟
Thank you
Wouldn’t an arpeggio on 3 strings be a triad? Good video
Bet I can't do that !
Sounds like Ozzy
Good technique and advice. However, it would be more useful for beginners to know what notes make up that arpeggio and what key it is in.
Not going to lie I accidentally started playing howls moving castle after this
Slow out down a little 😀
Noice
What key is this in?
A minor
Stop teaching guitar
