When Waller reveals she knows Batman's secret identity I kindof wish there was a response like Lucius's in the Dark Knight. "So you just found out that I Bruce Wayne one of the richest and most powerful man in the world is secretly a vigilante who spends his nights beating criminals to a pulp with his bare hands and your plan is to blackmail me? Not to be that guy, but: You gotta be pretty stupid to make half these choices. Waller may be a jerk about it, but she gets things done. Any mess she gets into she makes sure it’s cleaned up, and most of these choices leave Gotham in a steaming pile.
Waller had her own agenda from the start. She was supposed to shut down Santus and destroy the Lotus Virus but she didn't, leading to the Pact coming to Gotham. She planned to use the formula they needed from Lotus and Riddler's blood to make them work for her. Everything that happened this season is because she wanted to control everything and went behind her superiors' back.
@@hellstrom4209 But she didn’t do so because she just wanted power. She did so because she truly felt like it was the right way to do things and be efficient.
Just like how Batman made a failsafe for everyone in the League.
@@bastionmisawa3218 wether or not she had good intentions, she was still using unethical methods to achieve it. Doing things her way only made things worse like how it leads to the villain path and a lot of people die to the Lotus Virus. She frames Joker for Riddler's murder to turn Bane on him, and she escalated things with Joker when she tried to kill him simply because he didn't trust her with the Lotus Virus, even after he helped apprehend Harley and save the hostages.
@@hellstrom4209 I completely agree that Waller is in no way perfect, but the fact remains a lot of these decisions make Batman unwilling to cooperate just because “harumph, mean bossy lady came in telling me what to do”. That’s why my original comment was that half of these are pretty stupid. The point of these telltale games is to give you obstacles that escalate i matter WHAT decision you make. Waller is just not the obstacle you want, honestly.
@@bastionmisawa3218 I think most people refuse to cooperate with Waller because they don't trust her, not because she's 'mean'. I certainly didn't trust her and after Avesta told Waller wanted the Pact to steal Riddler's body, I was right not to.
