One thing to add to bumping back in on transition. You need to release the foot that isn’t holding the grind/slide. This will lift the front foot to clear the coping and stop you gripping on the way back in. Works every time, hope this helps. 🤙

Milky, you have got me playing this game again. I got it when it came out for console but I have 3 kids and not a lot of time for video games. But my daughters want to learn to skate and I saw one of your videos and so I figured it's a good way to show my daughter how things are done. Thank you for the great content brother. Keep killing it
This one and the advanced tricks vid made my flow stylo, dude. As an older skater and player of skateboard-games since the first TH-game, I can say this is exactly what I wanted. Finally someone explaining how to pump. Why don't they include all of this in a "advanced-/Vert" tutorial? Especially the pumping. I was hoping to see it explaining in 1.0, but it wasn't mentioned anywhere.

Adrian I don’t but that’s just because I can’t remember what I have to do when I can’t see it like it’s supposed to and it’s different with this video then watching the challenge runs idk why it’s like I know what to do but then when it comes to it my hands just can’t do it and it’s making me really mad I wish they’d just include this tbh

its nothing educational- its bootlicking for views and follows on here and twitch- he iant jack chit on ramp nor is any other faces of this game- my man MONK they despise and chastise him but is hands down the best in the game embarrassing all of them
Thanks for the knowledge 👍 I was trying to use triggers to turn the board on rails with no success. I had already figured out powerslides before the video and been spinning around the map like Sergio Yuppie 🤣 but this makes total sense now to slide into transition. Not a real life skater so all this is very helpful

Hey milky I was having a hard time poking flip tricks out of grinds , it just kept rocketing out of every grind but I noticed when using both sticks to hold a grind if you let go of the flip foot before flipping out of a grind it actually levels it out or pokes it . Just thought I’d through this out there since I’ve been noticing a lot of weird grind flip combos that just don’t look right , lol . Keep on pushing everyone 🤙👊

Thank you Milky. I am loving the game but I am struggling to get my brain around pumping but now I'll have it down. It is a bit frustrating with the bugs on console that nobody addresses because you're all on PC making console stats the same as console, it just isn't when you get "ghost ollies" that will literally make it unplayable as well as the 50+ complete crashes one had on Xbox One X.. but I'm sure an update will come soon.. I hope.
Your last vid helped me know I was doing things the right way, especially in how I think about doing the trick. I really do think this game is so beautifully designed for everyone but skaters are the ones that can appreciate how you think about getting into a grind or slide as well as the normality of taking 300 attempts to land a line AND film it as well, with that being fun and normal. I really do hope Easy Day have a plan for mods. If it becomes a PC has this and you pay the same but console gets less is doomed as the casual gamer well need some of the things mods brings. We know without casual gamers, no game survives to profit. None in console anyway. I don't think Easy Day would do that though, it's market suicide.

The crashes suck, but I've found on the mini ramp if it's acting buggy I'm generally doing something wrong with the inputs or the speed or hieght in the quater pipe I pop from

concerning mods and transition : it's the high gravity that fux with the coping and bump/pop out. I've been trying to play with a slightly lower gravity for the past couple days and it works pretty good.
Gravity is 12.00, popforce is 2.9 (highpop 20%), grindpop 1.60, and wayyyyyyyy less pump force, like ~7 (rest is similar or close to your settings I think)
feels smoother yet not floaty.

When clicking a stick to exit a grind/stall does it make a difference which stick is clicked? For instance, if you’re in a tailstall, do you need to click your front foot stick to drop back in? I’ve been testing it and it’s hard to get consistent results. Thanks!

Dude thank you so much, this is amazing. I had some of this understood but seeing it all laid out like this and knowing EXACTLY how to do it is just perfect! Quick question though, is that a mod that shows the tranny/slides together in one line? Like "BS Tailslide to BS Bluntslide to BS 5-0". Or does the game automatically do that if you are shifting during a grind/stall?
You can press both triggers together before popping out of a grind to pop forwards, aka back onto the coping and into another grind
@@MrJooki Yeah I know how to do them, I just meant does the game automatically chain it in the text box. I'm used to seeing it list one on top of another. then again when I do those I'm not looking in the top left so I'm not sure. But yeah I'm not talking about how to shift into another grind, just how the game registers it in text

I bought this game and hated it after 5 minutes. But I kept playing and when I finally got to where I could land grinds and control the board decent it turned fun. Game takes a lot practice and time . Even then it’s hard to master every trick and grind .

Can I share the tips on here? Cuz I wonder if this work for any people who use a generic joystick and didn't have a hair trigger feature on it (just like PS2 controller). So basically if you want to make it slo-mo, you need to use XXLMod Replay Editor speed feature and make it into negative value (like -1.0 or maybe -0.87). If you can get a reverse playback and your Right Trigger (or R2) work as a Forward Play, press A (or X) to get a slo-mo playback. It works and definitely helpful for some reason...

is tuck knee not in this game? I can't find any info on how to do it. Ive pressed both sticks up but it doesnt say tuck knee or look like one.
What do i have to do not to pop so high? Everytime i try to pop into a grind on the coping my skater pops so high and i jump over the coping to the other side and cant land on the coping

I lowered pop and high-pop heights by about 20% and raised flipspeed accordingly and that's all...tbh, it looks way better than vanilla this way...granted, can't get on some obstacles now...
How do you ollie over the coping to another mini ramp? Do you push forward on a stick?
Click the stick down to pop over, have to figure out which one to use to get on what side

If you want to roll back in to the right side, press the right stick. To the left side, press the left stick. Easy as that.
