2022 2 stroke Yamaha YZ 85 and YZ85 LW
I wish they would make a woods version on these smaller 2 strokes. The woods bikes for kids are just play bikes with cruddy suspension.
thats exactly what is missing on the market today!
Loving these reviews! Please keep doing them!! There is a need for honest reviews for these bikes ( 65, 85, & 112’s) with beginner and novice riders. Thank you!
Glad you like them!
Idk about y’all but im a 21 y/o and im obsessed with this yz85lw I’m gonna have to get one when my bike shop gets some in

@@tomdav1000 how did it hold up? chare your experience please. I'm considering have some fun on yz85lw , I'm tall too , not going to do any mx just rip around on a light weight bike! did you get all of it from yz85lw
That girl is a Tough cookie
Oh yea thanks for this
My fav bike yesssiirrrr🔥
Thanks for making the videos. My son is 12 going on 13 and is currently riding a crf125f. He is 5'2" and 112 lbs . I ride a 21 250fx and we mainly ride woods and single track. He's not that interested in mx riding but loves the challenge of big hills and trail riding. I am looking at the new 2023 KX112 or YZ85 Big Wheel. Which one would you recommend since you have ridden both of them? I hope this bike will be good for the next 2-3 years before he will be able to move up to a YZ125x. I am leaning towards the KX112 but keep hearing great things about the new YZ as well. Just looking for opinions before I pull the trigger. Love seeing the videos, keep up the good work.
Hey Tom, your son has great size for big wheel 85 or 112 which is pretty much the same size frame. We had both bikes and we decided to keep only one, it was hard to choose which one to keep, but since we are mostly on the tracks right now and I wanted to have my son Timothy learn how to clutch and keep the bike on the pipe we decided to keep YZ85 for that matter. We also liked the gearbox bit more on a blue bike, gears are spaced out bit different especially the second seems to be longer at least that's what Timothy felt and liked more. KX has noticeably better bottom and doesn't push the rider to ride it as hard as YZ85. We are on YZ for couple of months now and I see positive impact already. With that said, if I am getting a bike for woods riding mostly I would lean more towards KX I think, since there is more bottom power and bike can be lugged more, kinda can be ridden more like a 4 stroke, smooth on the throttle.. no need for clutching every turn. both bikes would be great tho, cant go wrong either way. Good luck guys! Let me know once you decide ;)
Shes gonna be a heartbreaker, tough girl with black eyes like how cute is that, more girl need to be like her, Love the reviews from kids because they tell the truth
@@ctrif11 my exact reaction. Let's just pray he's her age lol

Did you get a Ford truck?
nope, its a RAM
👍👍
I’m just getting into the sport well not racing can you still use let’s say a kx112 for trails or just riding for a beginner cause that’s what I’m gonna get is a kx112 I’m like 5’10 150-160 pounds
Yeah you could use a kx112 for trails or beginner riding, but it will be harder to learn on then say a klx or ttr pit bike.
@@EinSteinerEnduro alright I’ll just give it a shot it’s smaller then a yz125 right cause that’s what ppl recommend for me but it kinda looks to big but I do ride snowmobiles nothing like a dirt bike but I have a 800rmk pretty powerful machine but I want to start dirt biking
@itz_not_azlin thats right, a kx112has 19/16 wheels and a yz125 had 21/19 wheels. I would suggest trying one out before you buy it though.
@@EinSteinerEnduro alright here’s the thing would they let a beginner try the bike before they buy it I’m trying to learn but still have a lil fun after I learn it you know what I mean
@itz_not_azlin oh you're right I hadn't thought about that, I don't really know, I've never bought a bike new🤷♂️.
Тёлка норм
Doing a crap test with a girl who's too big the big wheel and a boy that doesn't have a lot of experience on it. Do it with a couple racers that ride everyday. Noticing you didn't show either of them riding it. Probably a couple of beginners. If you want to test a bike put expierenced riders on them. Sorry my opinion
Motocross Action Magazine, RacerX, Dirtbike Magazine were there too and they had fast racer kids on the bikes, you want to get new YZ85 for your fast kid then go check their review. I had different approach, lot of parents and kids out there looking to get into the sport.. hope that makes sense.
do not like the new plastics....ugly ugly ugly....looks old ALREADY, terrible job Yamaha on new plastics for the 65 85 125 and 250....ugly!
