Yamaha yz 85 has always been the best sounding bike of them all mini ones, I rode them all back in the early 2000s, sure KTM had hydraulic clutch and Vforce stock and such, but when i jumped on the Yamaha it did sound much more "nasty" the 85cc actually almost sound like a 125, not sure the reason why but when you revved it did sound "nasty" it was cool. Gz Hudson hope you enjoy the blue!

Nice bikes! I built a few for my sons before they moved to 125s or 250fs . With a little bit of work on the motor and geometry they are bullet proof . He’s gotta be so happy

Going to date myself here. I rode with Brock Glover back in the 80s. Ran a YZ250 can't remember all the trick stuff on it. It's great that Hudson is going to get his basics down on these bikes. Will make moving up easier. 🤙

I just put all new graphics on my 22YZ125X..And it looks so sweet! I have completely modified it..and at 61 I can not wait to get better on it I have not rode in 21 years because of my time in the military.and surgery's so now I am healthy enough to rock it!! Great looking bikes HUCK!!

When the time comes that he gets comfortable and you guys start testing, I’m definitely interested to see where things end up on the chassis side. Maybe just a tweak to rake or just an extended swinger is the key. If my memory serves me correctly, the big wheel swinger is +1. At this point, maybe a +.25/.5” is money. Bike setup is always fun, but these kids grow up so fast it’s hard to keep it dialed in for long when they’re constantly growing. Setup is basically a moving target at that age.
Huckson… in a lot of ways you’re more fortunate than you older brother. That says a lot. You are freakin blessed kid. And you’ve got a lot of personality to go with it. You’re gonna be a star. Now go follow in your family’s footsteps and leave your mark on this world. Brappp 🤘🏻

We recently got our 12 year old boy a 2022 KX 85 and he absolutely loves it, a few of his friends at the tracks got the new 2022 YZ 85s and they like them pretty good, I would love to see you guys go Team Green! But to me blue is second-best and at least you’re not on Austrian bikes anymore, I just don’t like any of the Austrian bikes when it comes to the kids bikes they seem to be so much more high maintenance!
The Yz85 is a tough bike. The kx85 is a much sleeker chassis and rides and handles great but the pistons wear quicker from the cylinder design and will grenade.
