- Here you go guys: a very basic weapons showcase. Here are all the firearms that will be featured in the first release, aimed for singleplayer experience.

Krylov should keep its original sound. It was always so satisfying.
After ~ 13 years this game still rocks , is a shame that EA still giving us non sens BF's ( BF 5 ) when a BF 2143 or a sequel of this game can be made . Dev's from BF Revive said that they ''revived'' almost 1 mil accounts before they were shout down.... BF 2142 will remain 1 of the best BF games ever along BF 2 , BF 3 , BF bad company and BF 4 . P.S. thank u all u guys that try to bring back a game as beautiful is this , have a nicve day . :)

Simply Life unfortunately, EA cares more about money than anything else. BF2142 if it ever gets remade will likely be filled with anti-consumer microtransactions.
I remember playing the bf2 demo till my fingers bled when i was a kid. I learned what a console command was because of that demo, broke into it to unlock more kits. That demo alone gave me some of my fondest gaming memories to date, and only after recently installing 2142 and this mod did i re experience the same feeling again. Quarantine sucks but its made a little better by using a tank to snipe gunships out of sky in good ol fashioned no connection required instant action. Wish more games like this existed. Mp is great but not always the most stress relieving lol. Nothing hits like single player bf

Hell this is amazing. Never got the chance to play this beaut of a game. Hopefully DICE gets their shit together and makes either a sequel to this or a prequel between BF4 and 2142 with some technology from 2142 emerging

This is still my favorite BF game ever I spent many hours playing this, I came across this video because I was looking for 2142 models and animations.
I am also interested in putting together something IN UE4, and would love to get my hands on the titan models/ Soldiers, and the walker animations is possible.
I'm afraid that original models are under copyright and outdated in terms of quality so the very best choice would be to craft something new :)))

nice to see people still into the game and making content for it.GJ guys can't wait to see more in the future ..btw why the krylov has single rocket only though it make sense as the reload in the vanila game has only 1 cartidge when reload.does it do extra damage than other rocket?
Yes, Krylov has only one rocket and it deals much more damage in greater radius. We decided that it would be much more immersive since the other rifles used magazines full of rockets.
What, Krylov used to shoot 3 rockets, and with the booster pack on Northern Strike you could shoot 4, i mean realistacally its just "One rocket Loaded" but for in game mechanics since vanilla always had 3 charges
Now it has 1 charge :))

I'd like to update classic HUD a bit. Having more dynamical kill feed would be pretty neat, but I'd never do anything super drastic.

Sgt_Prof I have been a long time 2142 player and I have to say you did a nice job re animating these weapons and tweaking with the sounds. Although I do not comprehend why you deleted the holographic sight on the LMG. Being a big support player I can only think of the iron sight as a downgrade. The recoil of the lmg is somewhat challenging to control at longer range and I can only imagine having it bouncing all over the place . Also the PK rockets seems to have a overly big blast radius. The pilum would be way to overpowered against armoured targets. But other then that I would love to see this mod go online some day!

I think this was the concept for Infinite Warfare.
But Infinite Warfare lacked the grenade launchers

its to this day the best BF they made, for its time & place in history!
would love to grab my LambertCarbine with cloak, c4&apm's again...such a fun class.
the grenade throwing system alone ()was glorious & to this day unmatched in any game ever!
throwing a nade with leftclick, or hold rightclick to "charge up" the throwing power manually.
no fugging (console cancer) quick-key for knife or grenade, you have to equip em to use!
but the Bogatyr Walker is to this day the best vehicles of any BF game!

Most of the weapons almost lost their futuristic sound. I wish krylov and lambert sounds stay as old version.

Nope :) Our both animators were EnemySniper and TUERIX.
Nice. How did you stop the rear (stock) of the weapons from being 'cut off' (clipped) by the field of view?
I consumed some secret magic soup which enhanced my skill on codding xD Jokes aside it is a simple tweak. Look up on BFSP for it :)

You wouldn't happen to also know a fix for the game not responding after pressing Alt-Tab? :D
Strangely enough readding the 'dice.bik' movie (and reenabling it in init.con) seems to resolve the alt tab crash.
Another odd-but-great thing is that after the first map change the unlocks in the customization menu become usable, I tested it in local multiplayer on v1.2.
I see you've put together a Project Remaster MP with the alt-tab fix :D

Hey, yes. Mod development is going on and I'm focusing on improvements of stability so far. BF2142 old engine does not like new HD textures so a lot of optimization will be needed. We also are planning to rework some vehicles.

Just my two cents : For a game set in future make the assault rifle attachment shoots rails instead of rocket or grenades.Because explosive projectile are so primitive jk

How come the Clark 12 no longer shoots sticky bombs?
It still does, but EU got Clark 12 buckshot version which replaced regular shotgun. However, PAC shotguns were not changed.

@@illicitSoul Sooo, I DLd the remaster but I got a few questions.
1: How do I get the kits in singleplayer? It says I can, but it dont.
2: how do I make it not run like crap!? I get 100 FPS, but it just makes the game really damn jumpy, jittery and play like crap. It does not run smoothly.
3: What are the 2 and 3 files in the remaster setup folder? I see remaster setup then remaster setup 2 and 3, which are just files. Iused 7zip to look inside them, but what do I do with them?

hey you could do those animations a little more like project reality. it would look much better. the guns should be more centered rather than too far to the right .

As I'm trying to open the mod Fh2z in bf2, he tells me that there is a missing file: staticmesh.fx , please help me how to correct this problem
It's a shaders problem I believe. Try to remove BF2 cache in your documents and see if the issue still persist

In fact I've copied the shader_client.zip in mods / bf2 to the empty shader folder, and the problem has already persisted :(

Beautiful, but I wish they'd remaster the sound design. Hearing the same lines repeated again and again is what prevents me from getting back into the older Battlefield much more than the graphics.
The gun model placements are a little too much for me, but everything looks great

yes, it's possible. You mean customizable or adaptive (like snow, desert, woodland etc)?
Sgt_Prof I mean adaptive but some custom skins kinda like frostbite camo from battlefield 4

I've been playing bf2142 reclamation for maybe two weeks but only see the same weapons in every game online. Nothing new unlocks.
Hey, this mod has nothing to do with reclamation except for master server thing. Reclamation = vanilla; Remaster = modded (+ mostly aimed for singleplayer).

I would hope we'd have these weapons by 2042 not 2142. By 2142 it better be all phasers and photon torpedos and ion cannons.
