This game have so many game mechanics that make the battlefield great. clocking, turret, portable wall for fortification. kind of sad how DICE have not remaster this game yet, even so this can be 100 times better. Since mod is aimed to be SP played mainly, it cannot be shut down like EA because mod requires the main game in order to work so I'm not contributing their content. Multiplayer at that case is different but EA never mentioned BF2142 directly so we can try to do something. Yes, theoretically it could work online if we only could manage to set up a proper master server. But this will happen later. For unlocks, while revive project was up and running and had a master server, our unlocks worked, you just needed an MP account with few points and gadgets were auto unlocked in the mod just by reaching level 1. Without MS it does not work anymore, but bots are capable of picking all the weapons so you still are able to find all the stuff.
if EA and DICE hadnt let this great game get broken beyond repair there would be no need for this reboot. EA should hang their heads in shame. i loved this game, when it came out the servers were jammed with players, they released about one patch for it then abandoned it

EA are a disgraceful company. Their open contempt for the people that buy their games and make money for them is staggering. The battlefield 4 "woke" situation was proof of that. When gamers complained about the historical innacuracies in the game, namely women warriors, and that they didnt want EAs liberal progressive politics in the game...EA told them to take their cash somewhere else. Which they did, and i dont blame them. EA are a suck company. They allowed bf2142 to go down the pan and i wont ever buy a game from them again
This is incredible. It's such a waste what EA and DICE did, and just let 2142 die. They should have made a successor, at least. It was such an interesting twist to the genre. I'd love to see this as a standalone game on one of the latest engines, maybe even a spiritual successor to 2142.
Yeah I'm also super had that it all happened. 2142 is still my fav game! Right now the old game can be acquired only in 'underground' and it's no fun. And I'd say the sequel is possible it it might take years for it to appear. I'm waiting for it since 2007 :)

16 maps are indeed very small. But I meant 32 and 64 player sized maps can be played with bots as well. Just I'm not sure if it's good idea to run up to 128 bots in Remaster because it would use too much video card memory :)

Maybe you can add: -better kill feed with "points" showing like "YOU KILLED +5 POINTS -delete claymores who need this (lol) -do not overpower the granadelauncher... thanks -do not add "Sidewalk freelooking" shit like in BF3 or 4... thanks :D -do not add skins, or 100 diferent red dots... a little bit costumize is good but we dont need cases to buy.... -no bullet drop and if you do: dont do it to much thanks for listen me englisch is good :)
Thanks. So I can point out something I think: I believe to finish the project might take few more months if I won't be busy but that's unlikely. It might be done around summer at worst case. Better kill feed could be done, but I've never investigated into this area before so I cannot confirm if I can do it. However I've seen improved one in BF2 mods. Claymores are fun in SP. Grenade launchers are okay so far. But I'm sure I'll do them differently if there's going to be MP version. There are only few skins done. No bullet drop.

I just read some comments and find out that most people want the multiplayer, but it can't be, or maybe the ones who create the mod should be careful. There was a page named "Revive" that made the BF2142, BF2 and BFH come back with a great online, however in october of 2017 EA take note of it and shut the page down. They knew that they were distributing Dice's game for free and they were "using the EA sign". So be careful with modding it, because EA is a b*tch who want their olds games to die.
