Oh Yeah! I'll definitely be installing one of those the same day I pick up my new semi. I purchased a Sleep Number bed for my home last Christmas and it is the absolute best! If I'm going to be damn near living most of my day in that cab, I want to be as comfortable as possible!

Because that has been a goal of mine since i was a kid to own my own truck. I just love this job. Hands down best job i've ever had. and i'm only 23! crazy right? got my CDL at 21 and been trucking for a year now.
It's really smart that you don't need to rebuild the entire truck to make it work. We have an adjustable bed at home, and the arms moving the mattress are moving vertical under the bed, so you cannot store anything under the bed. But that's not a problem here I can see. If you can intstall this in a Freightliner with the driver lounge configuration of the sleeper, you would have the nearly perfect sleeer. 🙂
I like this idea. I pick up my 579 next week. I have a drift mattress. So I will use that for now. But if I ever upgrade my mattress again I will look into doing this.
Just depends on the area size you have to work with in the truck. Just measure the width/length of the bed space and check the dimension size of the base before buying
I’m trying to figure out how does it wrk without the legs bc I thought the motor would rub against the wood its on?! Did u have to make any modifications? Can u make a vid showing what to do? Not like undoing and redoing but just explaining and showing how u got it to work or if u just put it on top of the wood and bam it’s good to go etc..thx btw definitely need to upgrade

I seen an advertisement for an adjustable bed and wondered if it's possible to put in a semi truck so of course came to RUclips and sure enough. But now I'm wondering how hard will it to be to get into a peterbilt 389. I don't have as much room in the front to move it around and get it into the sleeper. I might have to pull out a seat to get it back there
Now get a hydraulic lift you can activate with a remote to open and close bunk storage if you dont want to reach in from exterior side doors lol And while your at it, get hydraulics on all your axles so you can hit them switches and ride in style like an old school '64 Impala 😂

In the truck I just put a pillow under my knee and a foam wedge underneath the head of the mattress. After 36 years as O/O I sold my truck and sleep at home every night. I win! Reefer trucking SUCKS!!!
We ABSOLUTELY LOVE this upgrade! In fact, after we did this video, Prime started selling adjustable bed frames in their stores😂 They never gave us the credit for it, but what a coincidence huh?!

Seriously though, I sleep way better im my recliner at home than I do anywhere, by mimicking that form, this bed upgrade will definitely help my sleep while on the road!

The adjustable base has nothing to do with the mattress. You could definitely use the drift mattress with this base. Thanks for Watching!!

My wife and I mounted it. The truck already had the factory Paccar TV Mount in it when we leased Kryptonite!

The truck was already fitted with the stock Paccar TV Mount. We just bolted our TV up and plugged in
