This is an animation of the character of how aerosols emitted during speech travel in a restaurant. At 20 s in the simulation, hypothetically infected persons start emitting aerosols at two locations. Location 1: The red cloud indicates the aerosols from an infected eater (unmasked). Location 2: The yellow cloud indicates aerosols from an infected payer (masked).
These simulations are performed by A. Foster (Ph.D. student at UCF).
