I did a pair of booties following another crocheter basic same style using 1/2 double crochet but had to end and reattach a few time. I am going to follow your pattern now, your looks a little easier. By the way I am making the booties as I found out this Aug 2018 I will a first time grandma so yes I am really having fun with yarn and crochet hook. I am even following you new boarder blanket the update from you peach blanket from back in the day several months ago. Also very easy pattern to follow. Yes I have learned a nice hand full of things from you. Thank you for your time and patients of teaching. And thank you for the free instruction.

What size is the yarn?

your pattern has a missing part, there is no mention of sc in each stitch to get the 2 inch length(for example) in the toe -, I had to come here to confirm what I thought the pattern might be.. :)

I saw your is 5mm , it’s not what you said G hook, because G hook is 4.25mm.
