Thank you so much for making this tutorial! You explain all the steps very clearly, and you filmed it in such a way that it was easy to see everything. Thanks to you, I was able to make a pair of booties for a friend’s baby. It’s clear you love to crochet, and are a patient teacher. Your tutorial lifted my spirits. Thank you for sharing your talent!
There are a lot of babies coming up in my extended family ! These booties are so easy and quick - I specialized mine by running a ribbon through where the crochet chain is - just to make them special. I got 3/4 inch spools from Walmart, in all the baby pastels, yellow, pink, green and blue. I felt very proud to give these booties to the expectant parents.
Good for you Elaine!!! I'm sure they were happy to receive as well. I'm glad you've enjoyed using this pattern and thank you for watching. Have a wonderful day
Laura...I needed a baby bootie pattern to match a blanket and hat I made. Tried and ruined 4 different patterns til I tried yours. Came out perfect. I added a little shell stitch at the top to match. It was so easy to follow. You're a great tutor. Thank you! Thank you!
So cute. I made a set for my mom. She has baby dolls on her bed so I thought this would be sweet to go along with a dress I made for one of her babies…☺️
Just made my first ever pair of baby booties from this tutorial! Made them for my best friend. They are super cute! I wanted something easy with a tie string, these are perfect! Thank you so much!!!
Thanks so much for this video. It has been a struggle for me to make booties. I tried other techniques and I just couldn't get it right. Your video was simple and easy to follow. I was about to give up and just decided to watch you video and I'm so glad I did. Thanks a million 😃
That was amazing! Thank you for the video! I'm left handed, and was able to follow your video, just the same. I made 2 pairs of them for my daughter, who is expecting the last day of December. Thanks again! 🙂
Thank you this is similar to what I do now without the sewing. I crochet the whole bootie. Lovely and clearly explained. Wonderful view of the items too.
Thanks for this video! The walkthrough made it simple to make baby booties. I made them smaller by doing 6 rows instead of 8, and then 3 instead of 6, to make it the size for newborns.
I have literally just start crocheting (as of last night) and your video is the simplest I have seen to get started. Thank you so much! I am going to attempt to make these for my friends baby shower in April ^.^
I know this video i old, but I found it just today. I'm making some of these for donations now, and it's sending away a foul winter mood I haven't been able to shake for a week. Thank you. I'm using leftover LB Mandala, which is 3-weight, and it seems perfect. I will experiment with sizing, as well, based on some sizing charts I found online.
Omg girl. I have made dozens of yettibly complicated booties ridiculously hard stitches 4 or 5 different stitches took me 2 hours easily...this is unbelievable easy and even cuter! Thank you! I'll make a pair for each baby blanket ...
Looking o making to making these booties for our brand new baby boy. It seems so possible. I tried making a “0ne day” baby blanket with chunky yarn. I had to find Avery sweet lady that is now finishing it. I haven’t given up though. I realize that because I finished 200 crocheted 200 snowflakes. Does not automatically transfer to baby blankets, booties. You have given me so much hope that I will be able to make many fun things for my grandchildren and great greats (35)for the rest of my 80 plus years. 😊
Thank you so much for this wonderful and easy demonstration of baby booties. I would love to see more baby items done by YOU. I will keep looking for your things. Donna

Thanks for the darling booties. My granddaughter is expecting her baby this week.. tried to make the little blanket but had to get help with it. So I’m very appreciative for your tutorial that was easy to follow. And all the little comments were perfect to follow along. The only thing I’ve completed was learning to make snowflakes. Did it while recovering from utube. Thank you so much for my 80th birthday present. Gives me a many fun crochet projects to work on. 200 for Christmas this year. Not exactly a lot of Real crochet practice. Question. : do you always start with a 3 month size? If not what kind of adjustment would you make? Maybe they grow so fast I’ll do it your way👌. It looks so easy to follow. Thank you so much. I am anxious to see what is next for me to learn. P
Thank you so much for this tutorial, exactly what I need it, so detailed and easy to understand. Always have a hard time making booties,, but now not anymore, thanks to you. Have a very Blessed Day🥰💖👶

Seems easy. Heel is comfortable on feet. Will try. Starting to do baby socks for first time since yesterday. But found this pattern. Looks so cute. Thanks and be blessed.
Thank you so much for taking the time and showing us how to do such an easy baby booties. I have gone from one video to another trying to find a video I could understand. I am just getting back into crocheting and I am still learning a lot of things.

Thank you for watching and commenting Linda! I really appreciate it! I feel like there could be 40 videos on how to keep edges straight, don't you think? It is always something I have to keep an eye on as I go! xoxo Laura

These are so simple and Cute!! Could you tell us how many stitches to make them fit little ones 6 to 9 mos.? Also, could this be made larger for adults I think they could but not sure how to increase so they would fit. Thanks so much!! See you soon!!
Thank you for this easy bootie pattern. I have just one clarification to request: for. The foot part, if you start on the 8th sc and crochet 16 sc for the foot, there would be 28-7-16 = 5 sc left. When you fold it in half, one edge would be 2 sc longer (7-5 sc). Is there something I’m missing?
Wonderful, even I can do that, I'm teaching myself to crochet, with the help of RUclips, how would I do a pair for 3 - 6 months? Would I just have to use a larger hook?
Hey there Cally, I would recommend the same hook size, but increase 2 or 3 additional rows (as shown in the video) then work in the round, adding 2 or 3 more rows additional before making the eyelettes! Good Luck!
Hey, Laura! These are adorable, and I cannot wait to start on my first pair! However, I am curious if you have come up with a newborn or 0-3 months size? (Or if you might be able to give me some pointers on scaling them down?) Thanks so much... looking forward to learning more from you! -Andrea
If the pattern is in even numbers you can try decreasing by 2 stitches or 4 but if it uses hdc I think 2 should be enough. So if the first chain of stitches is 28(29) then make it 26(26).
