I've always wanted to hear P1 revisited in its entirety, especially Jetpacks was yes
Jetpacks 2.0 was good
Time for jetpacks was yes 3.0
Erick Mazur 2.0 was way worse
maybe that’s what they’re hinting at with these old playthroughs.
Albert McNuggets they’re practically the same aside from the bridge/breakdown. and i think 2.0 does it way better.
I know progression and moving forward is always best, but I want to hear P1 all redone with Sponce the destroyer now.

I should have been more “clear” .. Spencer is worlds above where he was. IMO better every album
@@CameronBurris1 That's interesting, I'm exactly the opposite. I like Spencer's style less and less as each album has released.
@@EditorJoe What happens in my case is the melodies and harmonies in P1 where very rare and interesting, at least to me. In the new albums they switched to more natural and usual, also catchier melodies that are probably more apealing to most Periphery fans nowadays. It's fine for me, I understand the change. But damn that scifi feeling from the first album was (and still is) really unique.
They should redo P1 for the 10 year anniversary in April.

These old songs slowed down really groove!! I wish we had some full playthroughs.
Letter Experiment has always been one of my favorites from P1, would love to see it revisited, especially with how much of a monster Sponce has become. Also this tone is fucking raw
This entire song is one long thing where the guitars are a beat shorter per measure than the drums. It sounds so cool

fuck ya one of my all time favorites, I always wonder how difficult it would be for the guys to relearn all the old stuff. l imagine racecar would take a long time to relearn. periphery could literally have a set list of 3 songs, racecar reptile, and omega and maybe 1 more to make an your set.
I've been thinking that you guys would re-release your self titled. I hope you guys are considering it. Found Periphery in 2010 right out of high school.
So many of those songs still stick with me, especially Racecar. The clean 'breaks' in that song are fucking incredible.

Maybe he can't play faster than P1 release version. Periphery riffs are going less technical every record, i'm saying they're getting worse with the time, just MAYBE Misha can't play faster than earlier days (Or he's not interested).

I'm not saying "Simple = Bad", just saying their music has come less technical with every release and that's not bad.

We need a complete makeover of P1. The music is amazing! Love Spencer now, but his vocals were kinda trash back then and the production wasn't stellar. That's expected, but I do want to hear all these amazing riffs in their full potential. The fact that they are being held back currently by the reasons already stated is simply a tragedy. If we hear P1 with Spencer's better vocals and Periphery's monster production capacity, I think I would actually cry.
