A big round of applause to Joe for telling us about Fat Drac
I do what I have to. - Joe
@@GetGoodDrumsI always value your input, even if I don’t listen to it
I love these but I wish we could get a P album guitar mix walkthrough from Misha. That would be so fun.
I think Misha nailed the drum groove here just a little bit better than how it was eventually recorded. But just *ever* so slightly better. It just goes to show how much of a musical monster he is, and the fact that Matt nearly 1-1 replicated it says a lot
Misha and Matt got the luck of the draw, when they met each other.... hell yea, it's a rare thing. On a side note, having bangin' live drum tracks on your record, really does help a lot, in my opinion. (Recorded to 2-inch as well lol) That mix sounds bad-ass!
3:05 Yup, that's my favorite part. Every time I hear it I can't _not_ do some kind of motion.
Got me doin the macarena
@@maxalaintwo3578 Fat Dracarena
that part made me laugh, i loved it

20:34 “Stanmark” sounds like a Bulb tune lol
YES
Cymbals in parallel is a game changer for motion and vibe. Even if it’s the directs it makes such a big difference. Also, contrary to popular belief, creating a parallel send for only cymbals to be crushed for pump is more efficient and to tie the room into it too? Pppffff game over.
Thanks Misha, and thanks Joe! It's really usefull to dive into these mix analysis and how Misha or other fellas use the library :)
This is so helpful. Appreciate you
Killin'! Having so much fun with the P5 kit already!
Last time I was this early, my girlfriend left me.
Pure Gold content!
Excellent video 👍
this is awesome misha always kills it......
misha i would be lost without you bro
Thanks Dad, appreciate the knowledge!
we love you misha, thans for the info!
Loved the PV Kit! Using on my new releases and demos already. I moved from OKW Architects but I'm still planning to blend, that will be really interesting for sure!
Please do more mix walkthroughs about guitars, bass and how to glue them together with drums
misha i literally love you so much
Archetype Fat Drac when?
Think maybe we could get an 8 string guitar tone tutorial one day?
Joe just kept yappin
I love the sound but Most of all I love the Lighting on Mishas hair :P
Would love the buy the producer pack but alas it's nowhere to be purchased.
Misha cloned himself. There's a misha from periphery and a misha for ggd.... that's how he makes so much money
his father is an economist associated with the World Bank, not a musician
what happens to the rhythm at the beginning?
I now expect a plugin called "Drum Box."
That's what I thought, "it sounds like a name for a plugin" lol
Hahahahahhahahs that was fuckin hilarious what he did to joe at :27 😂
Hello! I have a question about P V MATT HALPERN SIGNATURE PACK. In turbo mode, noise appears after hitting the kick, snare or toms. Sounds like tape noise. Is this a normal function?
That looks like a fortin meshuggah amp back there 🤓
MANTUUULLL
What's that red amp in the background there Misha?
Carstens Grace amplifier in red. (Carstens Empire above it.)
Lady in red.... 🙂
Anyone else think that mid-section to the song that the demo starts with sounds like Heavy Metal Chick Corea?
Why is the title in romanian? I`m just curious how the name came.
Maybe because of Dracula and stuff
I’ve heard from Romanians that it was in fact a reference to Dracula. The fat part remains unconfirmed.
@@izzate7 Dracul means literally "the devil" in romanian, not Dracula. It`s translated The fat devil.
@@bishopoftroy the song is referencing Dracula. “Mardi Gras” means “Fat Tuesday”. “Dracul Gras” means “Fat Devil” Swap Dracul and Mardi and you get a fun and festive reference to Dracula getting fat off drinking blood like a regular hooman drinks booze on Mardi Gras. The system works!
Why have a drummer play it on the album at all. Bet noone could tell the difference.
the drummer is the one selling you the samples, though.
