Who is this person behind the kit?! No way that's Matt in a crew neck shirt.
You smell like turkey juice bud
😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
I’m not seeing enough chest it couldn’t be him
I legit didn’t think he owned anything but deep V’s 😂
Sampling and E-drums have come so far. I looked away from the screen for a bit when the video started and I had no clue Matt wasn’t playing his Pearl kit. Amazing stuff
Oh, I can tell, I came from the Simmons era, still got my SDSV but today's electronic kits are really good and so versatile.
Love these gentlemans’ chemistry. Im not even a Djent guy but ya gotta give credit where due.
Sweetwater is always bringing you the bleeding edge. One company in music products that actually feels good to interact with.
Fredrik Thordendal called he wanted his Sol Niger Within record back, just kidding Misha. I remember way back in the day one used to chat with Misha and i was so blown away when he first uploaded his Pod XT demos, like holy shit this dude is a genius (no joke!). God this was long ago now. When Meshuggah had a fan forum called Tandjent. Those were the days Drumkit From Hell 1 was the shit back then. Happy to see the drumsoftware has evolved a lot since then.
Gone are the days of tracking drums in studios..midi is taking over and no one can tell because software drum kits just sound so damn good!!
Perhaps for modern metal on a budget or for pop music, but there’s no replacing tracking real drums for anything more organic.
This is kinda reminds me Thordendal & Agren - Sol Niger Within about 20 years ago.
Crazy how technology has changed 20 years later.
Awesome.
I route GGD through my e kit also. So easy to lay down drum tracks that way lol. Plus it comes out as midi so editing is super easy. Great for writing parts or even using on a release.
GetGood Drums is an excellent drum software plugin. I own the P IV Matt Halpern Signature Pack and it sounds amazing! I also like Modern and Massive and Invasion 🔥
I love playing GGD PIV through my E kit. Always sounds natural and huge.
Just bought my first E-kit. My Roland VAD306 arrives tomorrow and I can finally route my P4 and Invasion packs through it and I am so excited.
Misha definitely helped me with drum programming, and i thank you!!!
That electric/hybrid kit is killer!! Wow seriously the Tech has advanced so much, are those triggered mesh heads?
This is where I want to take my guitar playing. Doing my on drums. I have one of the OKW, just need to start learning.
I didn't realize it was an electric kit at first lol
Just downloaded the modern fusion kit. Only problem is I have no idea what to do with it. 😆 Learning to play drums without a kit + learning how all the different software works, is quite overwhelming. I have no idea where to even start…
The midi groove packs are pretty cheap n a great way go get started if you've no idea what you're doing yet, when you pull the grooves into the midi track you can pull up the piano roll in your daw n you'll be able to see all the midi information which you can tweak to your own liking, seeing the patterns n hearing how they sound helps you understand how n what to do when you start programming your own beats from scratch. It can be very slow n tedious so with patience n persistence you'll make progress
@@deathmetalglenn That sounds like a good idea, thanks!
Check out joao medeiros’ video on drum programming it’s really helpful and can teach you the basics of programming
really exited to see this. please misha and GGD make profiles for roland kits. the way to use e kits with your vsts are not good enough. should be as easy as superior drummer. thanks
Matt make seems a normal e kit a baby sized one lol he's such a beast behind the kit tho
I use ugritone drums just to be different, but ggd freaking slaps too
What kit is he using ?!???
Ill use any product Im paid to
GGD libraries is so good.
I thought he was saying ´music´ more times, but that must have been something else.
cool
these two just doin their own version of Sol Niger at the end
5:13 inb4 this is a P6 song
Except from the extended jam, isn't this just edited content from 7 days ago?
I'll bet you $100 Matt has a V-neck on under that shirt.
Seeing matt in round neck is like seeing johny sin with hair. 😁
Good musicians. Awkward business men. Nice 🤌🏻
musicians are insufferable
