This is a fantastic video!! The D’Addario team is really killing the social media game as of the last few years and the production quality on the videos has gone up tremendously. I would love to see these types of videos with more Promark artists such as Todd Sucherman, Mike Portnoy, Rich Redmond, Cobus Potgieter, Larnell Lewis, Marco Minnemann, Rick Latham, Will Kennedy, Paul Wertico, Anton Fig, Ian Paice and the newer additions to the family such as Anika Nilles, Miguel Lamas, Charlie Engen, Rob Brown, Ben Minal. It’s really cool to hear the artists themselves discuss their stories and the equipment they use. I think that if Promark made more videos interviewing the artists on the roster, both more famous and newcomers to the scene, play-throughs of songs live or in studio sessions, more in-depth product demos and more in-depth factory tours, that would attract a much larger following for the RUclips channel. Love what you guys are putting out, keep up the awesome stuff!!
Heyyy, finally seeing this video! Great clinic in London, so I'd recommend coming to one even if you're not a drummer (I'm not a drummer, so I'm speaking from my experience :P ).
He left Mapex because after Joe Hibbs passed away, he was struggling to maintain connections with the other representatives at Mapex. A lot of what goes into drum endorsements pertains to the company itself and the people in it. Mapex makes nice drums but at the end of the day, it wasn’t easy for Matt to continue working with a company where he didn’t have the best relationship with the people. That’s why he moved to Pearl, a company known for fantastic artist relations and equipment.

Thanks for uploading this! I’m sure everybody here would love to see those video clips of him playing uploaded on the channel too!
Matt is Amazing and Inspiring 💗💓🔥♥️
Hell yeah, this is so cool!
Just got a pair of his signature sticks! They feel great. Just like what the description says, they do play like a 5B, but give the bulk of a 2B.
