Hello there, have you ever used for gaming in other resolutions like 2K? Are they crips and good like in 4K or this monitor works well only on native resolution? Thanks a lot.
Hi, we don't really do the more in depth technical aspects of reviewing products. Our focus is largely on showing you the quality and the features rather than stress testing it 👍
Hello there, i have a question: would you recomend this monitor for console players? I use a PS4 Pro and i play Horizon Forbidden West, AC Valhalla and Red Dead Redemption 2 that has very nice visuals. I know that the PS4 Pro puts out 60Hz. Or would the monitor be better for PS5? Thanks in advance :D
I like your review, everything explained and clear. As for the monitor, it doesn't have height adjustment while it's quite important for tall people like myself. In comparison, my ProLite B2776HDS with height regulation allows me to put 3 pcs. Creative speakers of a 5.1 sound system just under a monitor in it's highest position. Anyway, thanks for a great review, when I have a bigger desk I'll definitely buy a new monitor like this :).
I just got this screen and it love it exept for the ghosting/smearing that the company claims does not exits on it. I mean overdrive helps alot but not completely
Hello guys I have a ps5 and this monitor but can you explain me if I have to change some things to upgrade the quality of the ps5 ? Sorry for my English I’m French
Hi! I didn't come across the setting within the OSD and can't see it listed in the specifications so I think it's safe to assume it doesn't support it 😥
This feels a lot like an advert rather than a review. Comparing to similar or competing products is necessary for consumer reviews because products don't exist in a vacuum.
i want to buy 3 of these for sim racing, would these be okay. i have 3 32inch curved va panels now, but i want to go bigger. anyone who does simracing on these please let me know thanks
Will probably be getting one as a compromise between buying a 55" 4K 120hz TV and a 32" 4k 144hz PC monitor for the upcoming GPUs when 144fps on 4K will be totally normal. Too bad it doesn't have HDMI 2.1 though, so for PS5/xbox only 60hz is possible... will look into HDMI to DP adapters if it's possible somehow.
@@BigBampot no, not with the PS5. 4K60 or 4K30 with HDR. Sadly it doesn't have HDMI 2.1 and PS5 doesn't have DP. 4K 144hz works fine with the PC though. But it did arrive with the left 1/3 of it being black, so i had to send it back to repairs, but not problems since September. Woudl've gone fort he Gigabyte screen if i had to buy again and wanted 43".
I was expecting this to be very bias but it seems like a good review, maybe send some samples out as I think more people would be interested in this. There would be even more if it had HDMI 2.1.
It has DisplayPort v.1.4 Any modern video card has DP. And if you are looking for 4K 144Hz - every single video card capable of providing such picture will have it." I`m looking for use it with TV-box and PC. Great combination.
I'm trying to find out if it supports higher than 60hz at 1440p so i can get more than 60 hz out of the HDMI but i can't find any solid answeres anywhere, i believe consoles only support 120hz @ 1440p
It disables freesync depending on what settings you have enabled. I'm not sure which feature it is but FreeSync can interfere with other features so it turns it off automatically.
how dit you get it on 144 hz, i have a new monster gaming setup screen is connected wit a display cable only i am not getting the option to set it to 144 hz
I have an issue with getting 144hz on the g4380uhsu-b1 but i found a workaround. I am using 3840 x 2160 with a display port: I needed to disable Freesync on both the nvidia control panel and on the monitors settings. I then was able to select 144hz by going to Display settings > Advanced display settings > Refresh rate. Due to a bug in the monitor software, on a pc restart the hz is set back to 120hz, and so i need to enable and disable Freesync on the monitor settings and then 144hz is then displayed in the advanced display settings again. If this does not work, then reset the minotor settings to default and disable Freesync. I have contacted them as it is annoying having to do this on every restart but they dont know how to fix it and have passed my query on to someone else. I wonder who else has this issue.
Hi, very nice review? Does anybody know if I can change display position when using "video mode adjust" feature? For example I need to set it up to simulate 27'' monitor with black bars, but I don't want to have that monitor in center of the 43'' panel, so I need to move display position to touch bottom border. Other monitors have this feature but anybody know if this is posible on this model? Thanks!
I find the size, price and 4k@120hz(freesync) of this thing to be an attractive proposal, and will probably get one My biggest concern is how reflective the screen is - I'll pop back in here and give my opinion on that (if I don't forget)

Hi, if it helps, you can find the product dimensions on the website which are - 977.5 x 621.5 x 251mm. It doesn't have an extendable stand and it only really lifts it 2 or 3 inches off the surface. Consider it the usual size of a modern 43" TV.

That's an insane level of UI scaling in Windows for sitting close. 43" is the perfect size for 4K @ 100 - 125% when you're sat at desk distance.
Never had any issues with the IIyama monitors I've owned. Good brand.
@cisano4392 No. But I've had 3 IIyama monitors, all 24 inch, in the past and they've been nothing but fab.
good review,,,, what GPU, and CPU ,,were you running in the review?,,thanks
How's the input lag on this model ? And what about the ghosting in fast movement ? You didn't cover this in the review.

Good or not - its one of few options available on the market at 4K 120+ Hz
