Even with a scissor lift, you'll need at least one able bodied person on a pole, hopefully two...😂😅 Slow and easy wins the race, remember, it's taken you years to get this far..😊 I had a houseboat tied to my dock at Okeechobee and spent about 12 weekends there in a year. It was way cheaper than building a house, but it had its own drawbacks. Love ya'll ❤️ Be safe!!

One thing to keep in mind about a house boat. Every time Florida has a major storm that destroys property, insurance rates skyrocket. Oftentimes, flood insurance isn't even an option. So you should study this issue and watch what happens after storms hit.

A houseboat in Florida? You should also consider the amount of hurricanes that go through there. That could be dangerous for you and the houseboat.
