When the name's Ennio Morricone, I push the like button before listening. It removes of the guilt of doubting a genius composer.
I knew they will die... but I didn't think they kill each other. so dramatic. and the music is amazing.
This is such a beautiful song. Just listening to it over and over.

Haven't you paid attention? Tarantino steals from every movie ever made and it's brilliant

"Haven't you paid attention? Tarantino steals from every movie ever made and it's brilliant"
Reminds me of the old adage - 'good directors borrow; the great ones steal.'
I wouldn't even say that though. Tarantino does not rip off plots or whole franchises. If anything, the fact that his movies never have (need) sequels is a tribute to their originality.
He just makes references to other films - musical, artistic, thematic, etc.
He had the original Django have a small role in the movie where he is told by Jamie Foxx, "It's Django: D-J-A-N-G-O. The D is silent." This is not stealing.
'Stealing' is Michael Bay reusing exact shots for different scenes in his movies.
'Stealing' is having Divergent - basically a cut and paste of the Hunger Games.
Tarantino sure isn't perfect, but any stealing he does only makes his works MORE original.
He doesn't steal, he pays omage to different genre of films. In inglorious basterds it's the nazi revenge exploitation genre, in Django it's the spaghetti western genre. He borrows elements from movies of the genre but makes something completely original.
+David Snyder How is Michael Bay stealing, when he uses the same shots from his own movies? That's not stealing. It's called stock footage.
SlyTF1 it's called being lazy and cheap
David Snyder He doesn't "steal" from other movies, he pays homage to them.
He was a good guy
Shosanna is epic.
💘💘
Au revoir Shoshanna!
I miss da PLUGZ .
I think that they all were bastards, Shoshanna for manipulating Zoller and plotting to kill everyone in Cinema, including Zoller, Zoller for becoming arrogant and forcefull, that father for killing innocent waitress, and so on.
So, there are really no "good" guys in that movie, just Basterds.
I could have been a contender
오..쇼산나..
What is the title this movie?
+Mashak shoshanna may been a bit too passionate in her vendetta, but ultimately she ended the horrendous nazi regime once and for all and saved the lives of many Jews that would have potentially been further ruined by it. The ends justify the means, so she didn't do anything wrong.
But that's part of the point. She is so bent on revenge that she forgets any and everything else that gets in her way. Not that she liked Fredrick much at all, but the point is it becomes something out of Hamlet - her quest for revenge ultimately destroys everything.

She had to kill him, but he was a nice guy. He did what he had to survire, he was a boy.
tartantino stole this from revolver
I have nothing against tarantino but with the exception of jackie brown I've allways felt luke warm towards his films. actually deah proof was fun. Its fine imo to be refferential towards those who inspire you. but sometimes I think the reason he so blatantly goes out of his way to appropriate from other films is because he is trying to be cool. Sort of like hipsters who name drop obscure bands to boost their cred.
Sure, he was a good guy on bad side, but he was not the best. He was quite overbearing and self-satisfied too. He wouldn't deserve Shoshanna even if he was french.
