Thank you i appreciate you checking out the video. I have another video aswell showing how easily i convert that set uo into a double sleeping set up for when my wife comes out. I will also be releasing another video in the next few days showing a diy portable camp kitchen that uses the same idea as the side cabinet set up in this video. Take care !
Honestly maybe the most sensible setup I've seen on YT. Looks actually really versatile and comfy to hang out in. Milwaukee Packout and camping is my favorite stuff, lol. We've had some terrible weather this summer here in Ohio, but that seems to be changing now. Hopefully will be getting out there soon.
Thank you I appreciate you checking it out. It is very easy to set up and tare out when needed. I also did a video of how easy it is to take out the one side and add a couples set up for when my wife comes out with me. Cheers.
“Simple setup” 1000% “Basic setup” NO WAY and I mean that with respect. Using the pack outs make this an amazing setup. I never could get onboard with the packout system. Don’t get me wrong I think they are a great system. Probably the best out there but for ME, I never had much of a use for them. This has changed my mind. I want a setup like this but dreaded the idea of taking several weekends to do a bunch of woodworking for my drawers to come out subpar or wishing I would have done something different the first time out. This system eliminates all these issues and saves a ton of time. You just earned a subscriber for this. Keep up the great work.
Wow ! I really appreciate your comment. To be honest I would have never bought the packouts just for the camper build. I ended up switching jobs and no longer had a need for them in my work truck so that’s when the idea hit me to use them in my build. Again , I appreciate your kind words and you taking the time to check out my video. I’d love to see what you come up with for you own build. CHEERS !!!
I’ve also thought of using a tool box with drawers instead of using cabinets or building some. Glad to see someone actually do it. Looks good. Like the snap in top as well.
really cool idea with the packouts. I just made a first aid/trauma kit using two of the smaller ones and super happy with it. Still figuring how I'm gonna mount it in my truck though. One recomendation I'd make is getting some thick rubber weather stipping and running it along the sides and bottom of the tailgate. It'll keep a lot of dust out of your bed when offroading
Thank you. I did consider a taller topper but I’m a short dude with a good size kayak I like to load on top lol. Thanks again for checking it out. Cheers !
I've seen this video before, not sure why there's no like and comment😬, my bad! Anyway I love your setup! Fingers crossed I'm able to finance a newer truck next year and build or get help building a camper of my own! 😉
Really love this build. I'm a big fan of the M. Packout system and have a Tacoma that I'm looking to build out for some occasional camping, so great insight.
3.5 eco is nice too. My 2016 F150 was a 5.5’ bed aswell. But since I’ve been doing the truck camping the 6ft made more sense. Thanks for watching the video.

@@gittngo Oh, and so not sorry that my Sabres smoked your Leafs 9-3 the other night. After the Blue Jackets smoked my Sabres 9-4! LOL. And maybe once in my lifetime, I'll actually see the Sabres hoist and kiss a cup, let alone even make the playoffs.

@@kevinshepley1000 yes I’ll be out with the new kayaks in the next week or so to do some fishing. I plan to get the boat out soon when I hit the bigger lakes. Mikita makes a nice coffee maker I was thinking of getting so I may be carting a few blue batteries around too lol.
Nice job dude!!! Love your setup. I want to do something like that to my truck someday. I have a 2015 f150 lariat sport. I am now looking for a truck topper.

How long and wide is your table? Is your tool box’s plastic or metal? I want to copy this. This is a great video. Thank you.
56 x 20 inches. length was based on where the wheel well ended and the width was based on the width of the packouts
