Thank you for this, I enjoyed your interactions with your model I've learned so much from your videos. Now when you told her to get closer to herself the look she gave you was priceless... I hope somehow some way you can have her again with you during your shoots...
Love the Silbersalz, I think I have to try this one out myself. I also liked the results from the CineStil XX and hey Robin, your model is a talented photographer too :-)
Loving the last two portrait shoots you've done, Robin. There's very few film portrait shoots on RUclips that aren't really short in length. Would love to see more of these.... especially on slide film (the 64T from the previous video was stunning). Tungsten film for portraits is definitely something I'm going to try. I've just bought some vision 3 250D (been meaning to buy some for a while after seeing you shoot quite a lot of it some time ago) and I definitely want to get some 200T or 500T. Great stuff.... impressive you got so many shots in focus at .95. Nice one! Model was fantastic as well
Mega Video, Robin. Die ganze St Petersburg Serie war super. Kannst du das Model noch verlinken? Sie hat ein super Auge für eine Anfängerin. Schönes Foto auch von dir gemacht.
The shots at that window with the LED TV were great cause she was so relaxed after laughing ;-) If you compare that to the shot at 7:49 where she has this posed fake smile. I know it is hard to make your model feel relaxed, best thing is first talking to the about things they like in life, like maybe their dog or cat and bring that conversation up whilst shooting. Peter Coulson is master in those things, check him out. At 9:23 she is full joy again, makes the better shots. She is a cutty . Personally I like those B/W so much more than the coloured ones Great video again, thanks for sharing.
Thank you! You also have to take into consideration that it was super early in the morning and on top of that it wasn't very cozy outside. That makes it even harder to feel relaxed and comfortable. 😆
Hi Robin, can I have a few questions?😇 How come you travel so often - is photography what you do for living or what's your job?:) Sorry - son't want to be asking to much, just seeking for inspiration really ;) Second question - what's that camera bag you had in this video? I'm currently searching for some bag which does not look like it's storing camera gear and this look perfect and nice looking. Anyway, liked the video a lot, liked the way you improvised with the lighting. Tungsten film is super, I love using it. Btw why were you kicked out from the first spot? Thanks a lot if you have a moment to answer and have a great day
Thank you Filip! The bag is from Billingham. Yes, I do photography for a, living. I think the guy in the shop thought we might get in the way of customors which wasn't actually the case. 😆
@@therealsirrobin Lovely, thank you! Happy you manage to take photographs as a job! I have it the same, but still searching my way through. Still thinking about starting some youtube stuff. Your videos are super inspiring and the pov kind of videos seems like a good fun:))
@@therealsirrobin was trying to find your website but found only instagram and etsy. Do you use these two platforms only for getting work and showing your images?
I am not sure what you learn by shooting film that is expired. I don't think it is useful except for comparative purposes to the same film not expired. If it is just "art" in the sense of whatever happens by accident is the point, I suppose that can be a purpose. But if it matters, then accidents are not good enough. Expired film is like the opposite of Gary Crewdson for instance, and somewhere in the realm of paint splats on canvass by a chimpanzee. Sure the monkey made interesting patterns, but dog crap probably has interesting swirls in it too. Not that I have anything against shooting expired film, so long as it kind of does not matter too much what you get.
She NAILED the focus!
All the portraits in this video were fantastic including the one she took off you. The framing was great!
Nice ideas to shoot and a very pretty model! Greetings to you both! 🙏😉🤗
Love shooting in St. Petersburg ❤️
I learned so much about photography from this episode. Really great! Also I really like the portrait she shot. Well done! :-)
What a Master and an amazingly beautiful model! Thanks for this great location and sharing the process. Miss Saint Petersburg.
She nailed that focus!
She did great, and I’ve been enjoying this portrait series ☺️
Amazing portrait series : finding great locations and framing. She also took a wonderful portrait!
Awesome shots! I used to live in St Pete’s back in 2000! I miss that city!
Surprisingly good result of her work
The Fuji has been a treat for the channel, despite whatever challenges on the day of the shoot. 👍
Great shots Robin! I really enjoy your clips, you have a good vibe :D
I loved the colours of the first Fuji shot! Great video as always!

Thank you Anthony. We might give it another go later this year. 👍
The photo she took of you is great. The real MODEL robin??? 🤣
Great as always be it as street photos or portrait 🙌🙌🙌
18:32 she definitely has an eye for photography...👍 Hope she's taking pictures.

Thank you David! 250d is also nice but I prefer the tungsten variants.
This knock off 0.95 lens is amazing!
It might look good in the video but the lens is actually not that great.

Danke dir. Wir machen sicherlich irgendwann wieder ein Video zusammen und dann werde ich sie fragen bezüglich Instagram Link. 👍

200T is great film
Merci!
Nice! :)
Tungsten film is so much better than daylight. I only shoot tungsten really.
天啊,她被拍得好美
Great photoshoot and you definitely worked great with this model. May I ask how do you source your models - is it acquaintances, Instagram or agency?
Thank you! Mostly acquaintances, Instagram or I asked random people in the streets, coffee shop... 👍
If you had a digital camera you could’ve made good use of all that grey on the water front. Or maybe non Kodak film with all that yellow.
Снимки на 7-й минуте у перила просто великолепны!

okay I found the blog website:))
Why did the ones NOT by the light look warm instead of blue?
For that you have to ask Silbersalz because they did all the scanning.
lovely girl
Maybe the fuji film worked worst 'cause it has been expired in 2001 ??... :)
It has been stored in a freezer and the ones shot with available light look great.
