Thank you so much for creating this video to show where and how to factory reset my Sony TV. Helped unlock my TV that got stuck in a black hole of death after the latest Google TV upgrade which blew away all my parental profiles but kept the kid profiles. Note kid profiles can't do anything not even switch profiles, change the input channel or go to settings. Thanks again!

Sorry, but you say this is how to reset 'without a remote' (mine's not working, which is why I'm resetting as Sony suggest). How do I then select my options from the Welcome screen onwards?

Before you do this you should let know people that you need a working REMOTE.
