If you have a chrome liner you need to pop those clips before you separate the grill from the rest of the unit or you will break the main clips like I did

Very well done grill install video! I noticed some of the other grill install videos, they add a washer between the top of the TSS sensor to tilt it up a little. You didn't do do that, because your grill was designed that way?
My sensor on the dash pops up saying it’s not available what should I do?
Do you need to unplug the battery cable before unpluging the safety sensor?
You can, but it's not necessary - i just did it without unplugging and everything works as it should, just make sure you'll seat the plugs in properly till you hear click.
Will this also fit the 2023?
Thats a great question, To the best of our knowledge, yes. But that said we haven't had a chance to test it yet.

It is very hard to get those clips out. I am struggling to remove my old insert!!
Sometimes they can be stubborn a clip removal tool helps a lot, depending on how long its been in there miscellaneous debris can sometimes contribute to how hard they are to remove. Typically once you get a few of them started it gets easier
Are you guys going to work on getting a lunar rock color option for the letters?
Did you install the two push nuts for the garnish?
The garnish comes preinstalled on all of our pro grilles when the with garnish option is marked when ordering.
Just installed the pro grill and now my radar cruise control does not work and my forward collision light is on in my dash. I noticed that is a clear plastic of some sort in front of the sensor on your video. My new grill did not come with that. Is this what I need for my new grill?
Yes, So there is an option for with or without a sensor garnish to work with the factory sensor. We can get that taken care of for you, reach out to our guy Truman on our support email Sales@tacomalifestyle.com and he will help get that working for you again!

How hard do you have to pull to get the grill off? Am I missing any additional clips or bolts if i have an SR Stock grill? I took off the two clips, two bolts, and harness but struggling to get the grill off.

What size bolts come with the Tacoma lettering? I ordered mine from the site and I was given no bolts? Just need to know the size so I can buy some at Home Depot
Why does the sensor garnish look like that? Is it a different color or something….can you use an oem sensor on this?
The sensor garnish is a clear cover that goes over the original sensor just designed to make it look a little better with the aftermarket grill.
This video could not be more misleading. They need to remake this correctly

very frustrating video not as it should be there is lot more clips and screws to remove and not showing actual steps sorry.
Oh man. This video is like a Kamikaze bomber. It's starts off good. He shows how to remove the whole grill great. But after that it's bad. He doesn't show how to remove the inner grill from the shell. He tells you there's 5 clips when there are a lot more clips. Also the 10 screws he says you have to remove you don't have to. I mean he doesn't even show the removal of the inner grill also.
Had this same issue and had an aneurysm trying to figure out why the video didn’t have more detailed instructions or why the grille didn’t come with instructions on the box. Ultimately got it on and am happy with it, but I was almost convinced it didn’t fit my Tacoma’s trim because of this video’s instructions not working at all.
I wish I would have read these comments before I watched the video 😂 wasted hella time doing the wrong shit
Man this video started off good and quickly went to sideways. Forgot to mention the other clips and screws to remove the old grill. I may have missed it but we went back several times to look. Then completely left out the grill removal.
