Mine is a screw on and it has the ridges and the garnish attached with the weird star kinda washer. It looks exactly like an OEM but like I said the Toyota screws on.

One item you missed was the second aftermarket grill (3rd grill shown) did not have the mounting holes for the TSS wiring harness. You should have included that with your commercial.
My experience with TWO aftermarket grilles with the INDIVIDUAL SCREW ON letters is that the tiny little plastic screw posts in the letters eventually break and the letters fall off or start to fall off. I then glue them (which is harder to find contact points than you would think) and they eventually formed hairline cracks all over. For anyone considering an aftermarket grille, I would say to avoid the individual screw on letters at all costs. I wish I had. I just purchased an OEM TRD PRO grille because I don’t want to F with worrying about any letters falling off again. And now I will be able to take it through a car wash if I want to and not have to worry about the damn letters.
You should measure its thickness in the ribs and around the side as people say the OEM is thicker, maybe weigh them all ?
cool with a 4 parts. i ended up painting my letters over with a different color so the extra silver didn't matter.
everyone and their mom has these damn grills on their tacoma so I decided to keep my 2019 stock gill. my TRD off road is white anyways so it matches much more than other colors.

I know they do but I still want it for some reason, unfortunately I dont want my tss sensor to go out of wack
@@yezkaholic I got the 2020 Sport and tbh I like the 2020 grill. If I had the option to swap out for a Pro grill, would I? Yeah, for a reasonable price. But then I don't want to deal with the TSS issues. It's a tough decision, but either way, I'm getting Ko2's first.
Also you should be modding your truck for you. The harsh truth is nobody else cares about your truck. I can’t stress this enough. Nobody is going to date or refuse to date you based on the rarity of the grill on your truck. Nobody is impressed or repulsed. We barely even notice you.
The only reason to dump thousands of dollars into your truck is to please yourself. You are the only one who’s really looking anyway. So the fact that the pro grill is common doesn’t change the fact that it’s the best looking (if indeed that’s what you think). You should choose what you like the best. If rarity is the thing you care about you should probably commission someone to make you a bespoke grille.
But again, either way, nobody else cares. If you are attempting to get status and attraction from others then you need to be valuable to them. So do things that show you have skills, resources, intelligence, and that you are generous and will share and help them. Otherwise if you have nothing to give or you are too selfish to give it, you are not valuable to anyone else.
I just couldn’t bare to look at the stock 17’ grill anymore so any of them will do!

DB custom fabs and taco vinyl have some kool aftermarket grilles. Pricey tho

My letter “O” fell off where can I get a replacement letter?
Ive had an aftermarket TRD Pro grill , I assume probably a Chinese Knockoff, that cost me about $200. The Toyota Silver letters stuck on with 3m tape over Black backings. Its been on my truck 5 years and just as good and solid as the day i bought it.
Do you know when these will be back in stock?
I have the 2020 off road with front Cam and TSS. Will the cam fit?

Yes it will.
You can find OEM grills for under 200. I don't see why it's worth going aftermarket just to save 50 bucks. Plus a lot of the aftermarket grills I've seen tend to fade quickly.

Are the silver letters on yours shinier than oem?
Nick not really shinier but they do have a slightly different shade of gray. Pictures would be better for that but the difference is minimal.
I like that you’re high on your product, but if you’re gonna do it you should have them in stock.

All four of those grill are easy to crack cheap junk.Get the custom made metal , powder coated grill , the gave it sprayed with bedliner before installing it ..Total Badass look.
😂 Yeah, sure. Buy a cheap piece of expanded metal junk that is so flimsy it bends if you hit a large bug at 70 mph. Added bonus it looks like it was made from a left over furnace filter
The metal ones can look too Bro Dozer. It’s an option if that’s what you want. Costs three times the price of the pro grill though.
