Thank you for this video. The part where you ran the wire through the wire loom to do the add a fuse really helps. Having a fully closed fuse gives me piece of mind.
Bro I found this video to be very detailed and helpful. I will most likely follow your instructions when I get my grill and lights. I don't think talking too much is a bad thing, so I'm not sure why people would say that and I think you hit every detail of instructions in my opinion. Keep posting contents like this! Love it!
Did the same to my 2020 TRD OR prem. with camera in front but made my own fit for camera, looks factory and works great! Great vid! Used different fuse because I like them on all the time with my Drls.
Thanks for telling us all about the process! As humans, we need to talk and explain things that the very people who say talk less, come here and want to learn things for free. Keep up the good work!
Man I greatly appreciate you showing how to route the positive wire through the harness in the fuse box. It wasn’t as difficult to install as I first perceived it to be. My lights look sweet!
😂 I get that comment a lot. I truly had no idea. I actually think I may try and squeeze in a quick Ironman quote in a few videos for fun and see if anyone notices haha
@@Beacon_Offroad New to the channel and this the first video I’ve watched. It was the first thing I noticed once you started talking haha would definitely love to try catching some quotes 😂
Just got my TRD Pro grill from Taco Vinyl for my 21 Tacoma that has the smoked amber raptor lights, front facing camera bracket and sensor garnish. Hopefully the install is super easy - I am really nervous about the camera and the sensor malfunction! Your video helped with the camera portion hopefully I do not mess it up!!
I just ordered the same setup from Taco Vinyl today also. I got the smoked white lights with cement color lettering and camera mount for my 2021 Limited. Have you installed yours yet? How did it come out?
@@stihlpro2401 Strangely enough, a minivan backed up into my truck and I have to take it to Toyota on Monday for repairs. They said they would do the installs for me on top of repairs covered by my insurance so I have yet to see! I did get the grill already and it looks premium quality. Cannot wait for them to slap it on
I have a 22 Limited myself and was getting ready to order the grille from Taco Vinyl . Just wondered if you have had any trouble with the TSS sensor or the camera and it's angle since it was moved from the bottom to the top and the TSS sensor was moved down from the middle position. Any advice would be appreciated since my truck is a Limited I just wondered if you ran into any problems by switching out the grille. Thanks
Nice clean install! thanks for putting this video together. Videos are far better than instruction manuals sometimes. So do those raptor lights only come when the headlights come on?
Good job on the install vid. We are sad we just now saw it. Our new brackets actually come so that you can just clip the cover in so there is no modification
Great video! Just hopped from your auxbeam switch panel install. Was wondering if you know why my right passenger side headlight doesn’t work after installing the add a fuse wire to the location in the video. My switches on the auxbeam do work and power on any lights connected to it but the only issue is my right headlight now no longer works. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!
Good video...the fuse part is my question....is it a double fuse adapter with 2, 10 amp fuses? Or I guess I can open the fuse box cover and look. But does the fuse kit come with a adapter for 2 fuses into one slot? Thanks for a precise install video.
Awesome video man very informative!! And don’t listen to the asses saying your talking to much I enjoyed listening! And as a Toyota employee that builds corollas for a living you did a good good with hiding the wires!!!
Great video man! Definitely gonna do this mod. Question is now, how’s it going to affect the panoramic view after a lift and tires? But I guess time will tell. One other thing, at 12:35 man, damn you sound like Robert Downey Jr. It’s uncanny
Thanks. It doesn't seem off, looks and feels natural. On a side note, this has been a growing trend, haha. Been getting a fair amount of comments over time about it. Lol
Great video. I have a 2021 TRD Off Road that does not have a front camera but only a rear camera. Any suggestions on which camera kit I would need to add the front camera? I also want to put the Pro grill on so I would like to install both the grill and camera at the same time.
Hi great video ! So The TRD pro grill lowers the location of the sensor from the Toyota oval above. Was cruse control effected at all ? No dash warnings ? did you measure the distance ? just curious. Thank you in advance.
Your tutorials are legit!! So good! Quick question, Do you like the 2020? Have you noticed any of the infamous “tranny hunting gears” issue? Looking to get a vehicle within the next few days and deciding between the Taco or ridgeline (I know, I know haha). But just worried the taco still has that problem. Either way, content is legit! Definitely subbing.
Thanks. As a long time tech, I've driven a lot of vehicles. That being said my 2020 trans shifts exactly like I'd expect it to. The computer and vehicles job is to bring the rpms down and in a lower gear to try and conserve fuel. I've also heard they've had tcm updates to work on previous issues. In my 2020 I dont feel it's a concern or off. Possibly was a bigger issue earlier in production. Hope that helps.
@@Beacon_Offroad Awesome, how long it did it take to arrive? I see they have free shipping which is nice. I bought some white grille lights off FB marketplace, and they're total junk. They don't even clip into the grille. Got condensation in a couple of em after about 2 months. I took them apart and sealed em with RTV silicone in the meantime, but I may end up ordering from these guys. Really diggin the "smoked white" look.
Depending on the insert you get, I believe you don't re-use the screws from the factory insert. I didn't with mine. It is just held in by 8 or 10 of the pressure tabs.
One of the better videos detailing this upgrade.
Finally! Someone with a video that includes fabricating a front facing camera mount for a TACO!!!!

Thanks, I bought it from Tacoma lifestyle.
Which spot you pug that low profile fuse to? And how much of a fuse you use on that low profile fuse? 7.5? 10?
I'll have to look again. I just checked the vid, it the last 10a fuse in that set. It was for the headlights.

Where can I Buy that Grille?
You didnt leave a link.

Did you have any problems with the TSS sensor after the install? I do have those problems. What shall I do?
None whatsoever. I'll be honest I don't have the answer to that.

Is that an OEM grille?

How much and what part number of the grill? Thanks
