OK man that is just weird. I listen to you on the RC net work and I just bought a Tacoma a month ago and I come across his channel. I’m like man this guys voice sounds familiar and then I see the word net work in the name and I’m like oh that is bizarre. It makes me think and then bam I check your channels. Great to see you here.
😂😂😂 Welcome to the Tacoma family! I got mine in Sept 2022 - and started (of course) watching videos about the Tacoma and upgrades. I thought, I can make videos.... Thanks for watching and stay tuned!
Hello Rich. My name is Richard and I see you are somewhere in Tustin . That hanger behind you used to be my workplace in the 90s when I was stationed there in the Marine Corps.
Hey! Yes, that's the North hangar that sadly burned down last year. It's sad what a combination of greedy cities and developers will do to our national landmarks/treasures. Hopefully the South hangar will remain
Great video! Saved me from making any errors following the Caliraised videos. You mentioned that you would modify the two wind deflectors and reinstall later. I'd like to modify them and and reinstal but am not sure how to go about it. Have you done a video showing this?
Nice! I have a set of ditch lights waiting, but haven't installed them yet. I'm waiting to do a lift/wheels/tires once my stock tires are done (hopefully this summer). I think the ditch lights would only be proper on a lifted truck IMO. The CaliRaised LED lighter is blinding though!
Best to mod your bumper 1st before mounting these light bars. Nobody likes to do electrical twice, unless it’s to clean up your electrical runs with an Auxbeam 8 gang switch panel.
You put the switch where the blank spot was. On my truck with a manual, that is where the clutch start cancel switch is. Do they offer a smaller switch that can be installed on the other blank plate above?
Yes, Cali-Raised has two sizes of switches - I installed a tall one for my TRD OR 4x4 DCSB AT - but they also sell a short version for the other row of switches
I would assume not..it's 30,000 lumens and depending on the angle you have it set to, it's quite blinding at night. I'm using it mostly for off road and when I go camping.
I was tempted to show that...but honestly, it's just blinding light and no camera will pick up how it looks in real life. Anytime I hit the light when people are riding with me..their response is "Good God, that's bright". Driving down my street at night, it looks like daytime.
That’s good and all, but lights are for nighttime. How are we supposed to know if the light is what we are looking for. Everybody always installing lights, but they afraid of night driving or something. lol
Thanks for watching - and great points. The hard thing about capturing nighttime footage of the light is that it's all perspective and on a screen, usually a mobile device, it just looks like a blob of light and some space details.
Meaning the installation "look" of both the bar and the button look "factory" - meaning that it's not some exterior bolted on bar and a 3m taped button to the dash.
What's your favorite product from Cali Raised LED? 🤔
Cali raised makes the best bed stiffeners with the wrap around design and duel bottle openers. Most underrated product they make.
I need to try the bed stiffeners....can never have enough bottle openers!
I really like their step sliders on my tacoma.
Just bought my first thing from them, a switch and the dual leg wiring harness.
@@Sam-kn2mm They're a great company, based in Texas. Anything made from metal is top notch

Tustin hangars. Nice!
Yep, I work right near there….great backdrop to shoot some drone footage 😁👍

Thanks buddy! I haven't yet...still a project in the works.
@diodedynamics hidden led bar way easier !!! Took me 25 min to install
They make good stuff, it's a single row of lights compared to the double row of the CaliRaised.
Is there enough slack in the wiring to install the switch in the middle right below the AC controls?
Yeah, definitely. You should be good 😁👍
I have a 2022 Taco Trd sport and have done some mods. I would like to see what you think about ditch lights instead of caliraised light bar.

Just bought a 23 taco. Looking to do some mods.
Nice, I have a 22 - there’s some great mods out there, make it yours!
I’ve had my 23 Tacoma for 2 months & I want lights !

Good info. I'm in a progression with my '22. I'm likely doing the lift/wheels/tires here in the summer, then front bumper and sliders.

Does this light bar restrict airflow? I live in Phoenix AZ.
Technically, it might, but our grills are so wide open, I doubt we would see a real difference.
Good job. Is it legal to drive around with the light bar on?

I hope not.
Absolutely NO! Insanely bright, you WILL blind anyone heading towards you.
Install a Lambo exhaust lol. Build a dual case beast, with some trick ARB diffs.... #nike #justdoit

RIP the hangar 😞
I know, it's sad. I work right by there and watched in the days after the fire started.

How so? How did I mislead you by the thumbnail/title and not provide what was promised? I'd love to hear your response
