Topping the line-up from launch is a new P400e plug-in hybrid model, which uses a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol, a 17.1kWh battery and an electric motor. The combined system develops 400bhp and 640Nm of torque, and it’s the quickest model in the line-up; Jag says it’ll cover 0-62mph in five seconds. It’s the most efficient model in the range, too, returning a claimed 130.2mpg and CO2 emissions of 49g/km, while a full charge will deliver up to 33 miles of electric range.

Ow yeah! This is the 300hp 2.0liters from the F-Type so it sounds really good. The electric 100hp helps for the launch. Runs really smooth 😎👌

And the electric motor is 143hp (105kW).
Ah, correction to my own post.
The combined power of petrol plus electric is about 400 hp. The petrol engine by itself is only about 300 hp.
I was waiting for this exact video, thank's so much! Unlucky that you didn't have the charging cable with you. Does the car feel heavy with the batteries? I will get my P400e in July. I'm affraid that the 2.0 Petrol is not strong enough without the electic boost. What do you think?
It will not disappoint! It feels really strong. Most 2.0 petrol engines in heavy suv’s feel soggy and they feel like they have to work really hard. This one does not. Really fun car to drive. Sounds awesome in dynamic to! 👌😎

Haha it’s a really fun suv to drive! In dynamic mode with everything turned red it sounds like a musclecar 😁👌. Be careful with it , it gives you a weird sense of speed. You’re going way faster as it feels 😎

Rij zelf met AR QV Stelvio, maar dit is een prachtige Jag, full spec options denk ik. maarrrrrr OMG ... die wagen is levensgevaarlijk met dergelijke boordcomputer, je hebt daar bijna meer menu-onderdelen dan dat ze op een Airbus gebruiken om te vliegen.
enige wat nog ontbreekt : de uitlaat van de vroegere F-Type versie .... ;-)
Auto heeft ook een heel vals veiligheidsgevoel. Remmen voelen ook zwakjes aan voor de 400pk...had eigenlijk alles van de SVR moeten krijgen van onderstel 😁. Wel enorm leuke sportieve wagen om mee te bollen. Geluid is ook zeker niet slecht voor zijn 50gr co2 uitstoot 😎
Thanks for this great video! I have just ordered mine. Should receive it in June-July. What about EV mode? If I remember well, electric motor is 143 hp and 275 Nm. So it should do pretty well. In mode sport, it is clearly a beast :). Really looking forward to receiving mine :)
I forgot to take the charging cable with me when i picked up the car 😂. Battery was at 3% at the moment. But it keeps regenerating some energy so when you move out the garage or move slowly it’s fully electric. Not sure about the right horsepower but it’s the same engine as the 300hp F-Type. I thought it was 300hp petrol and 100hp electric. But the sound is sooooo good! Most 2liter engines are screaming in pain when you give them alot of horsepower and a heavy car to move. This Jag has no problem with that. Sounds really good and it’s a pretty fast car! You gonna really happy with it! Congrats 😉. Took the new full electric I-pace out today but the F-pace is so much better.

if the battery runs out does the car uses the 300 horses? when moving does the battery charge? So the 400 horses are for 50 kilometers until the battery runs out?

Everything else is great, just the exhaust sound is disappointing compare to the former S.
Perhaps this is suitable for some people however spec'd out to my liking its almost $85k! For that much you might as well pay a few grand more for an SVR
Yeah that’s about the price. In Europe with new regulations this hybride phev model will give you a 97% tax reductable when buying this car. No road tax for example , the SVR version will set you back 15.000$ just for road tax and get it on the road. Yearly this version will set you back 200$ while the SVR will be about 3000$ yearly. 😅🙈

The F-Pace is a way bigger suv so alot more comfort. The I-Pace is a saloon car. Also really comfy but not as the F 😊

Looks like a smooth ride,ROUNDABOUTS and STUPID people.In the last ten years my state went from 2 roundabouts to over 1000 there are over a dozen within 10 miles of my house more crashes at them than there ever were at intersections.👍

That, and also the fact that at the roundabout he should’ve seen the lady trying to get ahead of him if he paid attention, I would’ve stepped on my brakes far away just in case.

I seen her from a mile away no worries , 99,9% of the time all cars go straight on that roundabout so the lady was surprised i went towards the highway. I just braked way to late to add some drama to the video 😄
Should have put the indicator to indicate left in the roundabout, but I wouldn't say it was unsafe going at 27kph in this roundabout, and the last should not have just "guessed" he was going straight. Good late braking in my opinion to make her realise that and she will pay more attention in future. Generally good driving and nice vid, could have been showing features and modes standstill to be safer and satisfy some viewers ;)

I run 6 other youtube channels by myself doing close to 100 million views a month so i’m pretty busy with those. Couple of my friends own car garages and they give me cars all the time. I wish i knew every single aspect on every single car i drive but i don’t have the time for it. I own an Amg myself so i know almost everything about Mercedes and the new tech inside of them. But with the new Bentley Bentayga for example they changed over 1000 things. Would take me forever to learn that 😊. Sorry bout that.

Horrendous, careless driving. No signaling in roundabouts, speeding in public places, endangering traffic, fiddling with the car controls at high speed, all for the 'views'. Shame that there's a nice car in the video adding to the prejudice that luxury car drivers are plonkers.

@@SuperCarSmokey I've got advanced driver training and one of the specific notes they tell you is not only to obey the law, but the anticipate what the traffic will do and become fluid. You nearly rammed that woman in the roundabout because you didn't bother to use the turn signals. Lane discipline is critical, I wasn't even saying anything about the speed.
On that roundabout 99,9% of people drive straight , that’s why the lady came right in front of me. I ride the fastest motorcycles in the business , i have seen here coming from a mile away but i braked way to late on purpose so next time she will think again coming onto the roundabout like that. 😁 And i don’t drive fast when people are near or other cars so nobody is in danger. I can’t do test drives for people running like my 80 year old grandpa right? 😅
