RAINY TAKEOFF in Miami on American Airlines 737-800

The flight was delayed for half an hour as we sat on the taxiway due to the storm over the Caribbean. American Airlines 737-800 rainy takeoff from Miami International Airport on runway 8R. Forgive the poor auto focus, the old camera decided to focus on the rain drops instead. The great engine sound during the climb-out makes up for it though.

Yep . For me when the plane takes off it lasts for about 5 mins . Remember the pilot takes a while to settle in the sky

Plane Engines Are designed to intake rain. wings can widthstand heavy turbulence. As long as a microbust dosen't occur, you're completely safe
