Wow. That’s a throwback safety video. The A321T is my favorite plane that American has. I pretty much only fly on it when I take American or in general.
This is an Airbus A321T (T=Transcontinental), which has a 3-class configuration. AA's Airbus A321S (mentioned), is both overwater (ETOPS) certified and has a 2-class configuration, unlike the A321T pictured.
@@jackziegler7696 I realize it has been a while. But in case the question is still relevant: The A320 has two (actually three) independent hydraulic systems: Each one is powered by one of the engines. The PTU can be used to transfer hydraulic pressure from one system to the other in case there is a difference in pressure between both systems. That is also the reason you mostly hear it kick in during startup and shutdown.
sometimes at an empty airport pilots taxi fast as fuck to makeup time or just get there quicker. One time in a hawaiian inter island 717 they straight up deployed thrust reverse during taxiing
boring? You mean you don't appreciate the startup and taxi sounds of this amazing aircraft. The hydraulics and engines make this distinct noise that's so pleasing. Whats going on with you?
Gee pilotmaria is doing the with her bipolar the FAA should stop this female from flying she is a danger to her and the passengers she is carrying she need to be grounded with her mental health the passengers are in danger
One year on and still watching this video absolutely love the sound of the plane ✈
Love this video watching it over and over again the sound is amazing
Coming out of the clouds never gets old!

Yes the engine sound along with Cabin Crew Announcement makes it much more beautiful 🙏🙏
Amazing job keeping that camera so still! Perfect video with great sound!
2:04... Love hearing those engines Start

I love the sounds of those engines firing up!
Very vice view of the TBIT. Beautiful marine layer too! Flight is exhilarating.
3:14 Love this sound
When i first went on a a321 i got scared because when the engine where starting up with so much power the lights and electricity where flickering lol.
Snap
It's the PTU (Power Transfer Unit). Just letting you know.
@@awdz213dudeman lol i know. I love the a320s.
AWDZ21Gaming we pilots call it the mad dog lol
A320s and a321s sound of taxi are the best
The sound and video could not have been captured better. This is a really great video. and that is one LONG pushback
5 stars for the director shooting the video
13:29 hear the raw power coming out of that engine.
Yea the turbine sound....awesome power!
The best sound in modern planes.
beautiful, just beautiful. thanks for posting
Nice video thanks. Pilots forgot to turn on strobe lights when received clearance for take off, not a big deal of course.
They come on automatically when the gear are retracted.

american’s a321t technically has four classes due to main cabin extra
main cabin extra are seats that have more leg room than the main cabin
She has an amazing voice
These light meals and drinks are the best when you are on a long flight
5:40 omg that is amazing
GREAT VIDEO!!!
American airlines are the best of all time
Thats a nice camera you have there.

Nothing says you're on an Airbus like the sounds from the PTO
Airbus a321 takeoff has a rumbly sound like a hailstorm noise
At 21 seconds. A TWA plane?
3:15 sounds like that chicken that you squeeze and it makes a funny sound
It's called the PTU (Powrr Transfer Unit).
AWDZ21 Gaming what does it do?

13:29 ✈️ take off 😊
Awsome takenoff and power
There were no strobe lights on the RWY. 😬
nice video!!
3:14 What is that?
The Power Transefer Unit (PTU). You can hear it after takeoff too.
Juan Diego Benítez what does it do?
Jack Ziegler Your mom x2 🗿🗿
Ptu
Jack Ziegler I heard once that it presurices something. I think the landing gear.
Did he turn on his the strobe lights late?
Try using BOTH AirPods, it’s a whole new experience.
The American airlines a321 takeoff was freakin loud
Idk why but the sounds soothe me
Gil Stein
Snap beautiful sound isn't it
Doesnt take long at all to fly up over the marine layer! Done it countless times out of LAX. Then the familiar turn back over land shortly thereafter.
Notice that not one other aircraft took off or landed ( other than FedEx just before them) while this flight taxied out.
nice video! what camera do you use?
Simón Abufarhue I actually was using a Samsung S7 Edge to take this and most of the other videos.
Best energy Sound the world 🌎
yes :D
Amazing!

love the sound rode this plane to cancun mexico one time
Oh wow
*temperature of 33,000 feet*
what year was this?? i saw a TWA plane in the background??
dawn that was the 737-800 retro jet. Lol. It wasn't an active TWA plane.
3:14😍🤤🥱
was that a twa 737
That was a Legacy AA B737-800, with the 70's/80's TWA paint scheme. TWA did not have 737-800's.
13:20 take off time
By the way how high is the cruising altitude I forget
Awesome takeoff and great video. Liked and subscribed.
Why are they using gasoline to heat the building
I can see a blue Honda crv
And a white food truck transfer truck here

Did not have strobe lights on during takeoff
They're on at night time
I didn’t know that it takes 6 hours to fly coast to coast.
Nice video , engine is pw2500 or cfm ?
Arian Jabari v2500
IAE V2533
Is that a TWA
American Airlines have the slowest taxi, SouthWest Airlines have the fastest taxi speed
Slow taxi speed? The speed limit on all taxiways is 25-30 MPH statute. American has longer taxi routes than Southwest, which makes it feel slower.
No southwest pilots taxi fast
⛔The Speed limit on taxiways is 40 kpm
All airlines has to taxi at the same limit
sometimes at an empty airport pilots taxi fast as fuck to makeup time or just get there quicker. One time in a hawaiian inter island 717 they straight up deployed thrust reverse during taxiing
What seats
The IAE takes so long to start-up
This is a indian plane but it got delivered to usa
Hi I wanted to know which is the best row behind the wing to record videos? starting from row 26 to 28 in this type A321
this is seat 10f in biz class
The A321T only goes to Row 22.
A321 airplane video sound love
Boeing 738-800 has the same engines
That would be TWA of the 1980s
Jr Woodson
Ok thanks to the girls for a good time
You know engine #2 is starting up when that PTU kicks in
I get vertigo from takeoff
Me too. I tried ear plugs paired with noise canceling headphones last time I flew. It helped a lot
@@chela_renee oo thanks for that tip. I'll try that.
@@srgavemetheglow1869 when do you fly again
@@srgavemetheglow1869 I haven’t flown in two years now. I might have lost my nerve and now I have to build it back up again.
@@chela_renee lol I'm flying out to Jamaica from JFK on Wednesday for my cousin's wedding. I'm flying JetBlue A321 airbus

That's a Boeing 737-800. Look at winglets. Nice video though.
It's the new sharklet winglets, which do look like the 737-800, however, the 737 family is getting outfitted with new-style winglets.
Semper Fi it’s a a321 dummy. You can tell the difference between the airbus and the 737 winglet, the lights are in different places. Google it.
Ya got me stupid. I did drop the ball on that one. There's always a first time.
@@Semper_fi_777 Np, also the Airbus A318/9/20/21 do make that weird PTU noise.
You can also tell by the sound of the engine that this is not a boeing
Who here remembers F/L/Y?
14 minutes of boredom followed by a cloudy boring takeoff
Then you dont enjoy the thrill of flying. I've flown countless times and still enjoy it.
