Toronto Aug., 1979 - The CNE Airshow - SST Concorde From the Spadina Bridge

A short clip of a Super 8 film I shot when My friend, Norm and I went down to take a look at the SST Concorde in Toronto for the Canadian National Exhibition Airshow in the summer of '79.

I remember seeing that. Good footage, seeing a station wagon brings back memories. I wish i had flown on the concorde. too late now.

I was there, on the waterfront at Ontario Place, SR71 too if I remember. As the Concorde flew by at almost stall speed it would kick up water about 8 seconds after it passed. Massive jetwash

Yes the 89 Toronto Airshow best I've seen to this day nones beaten it since. Concorde 2nd last plane. The SR-71 ended with a bang and was retired after. If u can get a hand on that show let me knoe lol😅

OMG I was there working the Ex that summer - you don't have any footage from inside the Ex do you ? I was working in the hamburger stand beside the cotton candy stand where they played " The Candy Man " song on a tape loop from morning till night lol

Sorry, no CNE footage until my 1990 video! Your Candy Man story is funny! 'Now you talk about your childhood wishes, you could even eat the dishes!!' lol
