Double Din Head Unit Upgrade ATOTO F7

We fit a double din head unit to upgrade our old radio to the Atoto f7 we. Android Auto and Apple car play with phone mirror to watch videos via your phone.
We had problems with our old head unit not working with Android Auto for Google maps, The Atoto F7 worked straight away wireless and when plugged into the phone link cable.
Best value for money head unit? We were very impressed for value for money and ease to install this head unit.

"You can get around the DAB" by buying the model which has DAB (XE), not the one which doesn't.

I have the XE and the DAB is rubbish and finds no stations

I hate that RUclips did an update so we are unable to use RUclips app only on website we can screen mirror :/

Also, my AutoLink just says it connecting (iPhone) but it never connects. Sucks. Hopefully I can find something that can help me.

From experience, DAB via your phone will yield far greater reception than paying extra and hoping the additional aerial works, no faff trying to install an aftermarket aerial which sometimes has to be grounded to the vehicles metalwork, not an easy task. Plenty of room for cables with the unit being much smaller now they don't have dvd/cd drives.

I am having some problems with this exact same model, and sometimes the buttons on the device don't work, or the radio can't be heard.
They are almost always solved by restarting the ATOTO unit, but I have only had it for a few days and I would like this not to happen.
I was looking for a firmware update and they don't offer it on their website.

How can you install youtube on this? Also the car logo?Have the same atoto version not sure why it doesn't show

You have to do via your phone and screen mirror either via the cable or wireless

Have you changed your region? I got mine yesterday and it was defaulted to Latin America. (I’m in the US.)

Does it support steering wheel control in the Boxer/Relay/Ducato?

Yes the wiring has this, so would just need to connect the wires.

Yes still going well. Android connect can sometimes play up but not sure if it's the phone sometimes. But decent for the money. 👍

The Atoto F7 XE is the DAB model

As with all these Chinese head units don't bother with their DAB. They hardly ever pickup anything and constantly drop signal. The A6 does have DAB but its poor. If you want DAB go for Pioneer, Kenwood, Sony etc...
