I tried this today and it worked for me! It really helped a lot. Thank you
I tried this at the range yesterday. It does seem to be effective in influencing shot shape. I have been fighting a push/fade with driver lately. Unless I know different, I follow Ben Hogan's advice in his Five Lessons book. He prescribes some left foot flare, about 22 degrees, so that is what I have been doing. Worked for him, but he fought a hook all his life. Those of us with the opposite tendency need to hold the foot closer to square to the target line, apparently. Amazing that such a simple detail can have such influence.
I will definitely try thkx. Never been able to draw on purpose
Great tip, makes a lot of sense, will try it out…..
Could the same principles be applied to driving off the tee?
So much harder for me to hit a cut/fade. Thanks
