In India at least in my customs the bride's parents are supposed to do everything as a couple. When somebody loses their spouse another couple steps in as the bride's parents. I've been fighting to change the entire thing for my wedding because my mom refuses to step in and take over my dad's role as well and I will not have substitute parents. The world needs to change.

I had this guy in highschool. I thought he is a little into me. I was into him too. But when i asked it turned out he isnt gay at all. We are friends but it was hard for a couple of months after that. You fall for straight people constantly, be prepared to dump your hopes more often than not.
